And I agree Lockjaw doesn't need to be changed. Leech should probably just work for 1 turn and get an energy cost drop to 4.

I feel the problem cards were

Shuri (lol no nerf)
Sunspot (lol no nerf)
Aero (nerf should help)
She Hulk (completely fine now I think)
Red Skull (5/12 with the +1 ongoing is probably more in line with other 5s)
Infinity Stones (Quinjet nerf and hit to space stone should hit it well enough)

I wonder how my junk deck will handle the change. The only card effected is Aero, but she wasn't particularly useful when my deck was working properly.

huh, I did not know that using Bast on Mysterio makes the Illusions also become 3 power. I suppose they'd have to, otherwise the real one becomes obvious. Though actually, they could just make it only reveal at 3 power at the end instead of 4 and still all show 0 during the initial play. Maybe something about the way Mysterio is coded makes that hard to do.

So because I overthink stuff I just want to clarify something. Cards like Absorbing Man or Mystique will copy the last power not destroyed regardless? Like if you played Jubilee turn 4 and then turn 5 dropped Sunspot (or any 1 cost without On Reveal) first followed by Absorbing Man hed still copy Jubilee? Just want to make sure I understand it right and dont cost myself wins

All the changes up to Aero seem good. I kinda like the Red Skull change too, makes him better in a lot of cases.

The Aero change in theory seems more fun too. Now you want to use her to fight a lane, since she's stronger, plus do some disruption. As opposed to being almost entirely disruption, where your goal is to throw her into a trash lane.

As much as we want a well balanced game, I think the fact that the designers can do things like that is the true appeal of this game

I feel a lot those are going to go great with Hazmat, Luke Cage, Ironheart and Wong.

Looks more like Hazmat copying kinda with all the power loss. I guess theyre technically powers, but I wish Domino got something other than being in your hand turn 2.

they changed Nebula, she used to be 1/1 On Reveal: If your opponent played a card here this turn, return Nebula to your hand with 2x power

this new one is way better I think

Those abilities only reveal themselves if you have High Evolutionary in your deck

Some of those abilities are nutty as hell, also whats up with Howard the Duck having a Tap ability?

How does that work? He doesnt contribute power? Is there an untap phase now?

I feel like you're assigning a meaning to tap beyond the literal 'touch this part of the screen to see the card' that they likely mean

Also seems like they are adding a notion of "top card" which I'm not sure if I like. I guess Yondu did it already, and Cable does bottom card.

I figured it might work this way but wasn't 100% sure since I assume there is a server ping to get your CL track rewards.

I'm not sure if the token changes were just to reserves or included caches too but I just opened a cache and only got 100 tokens from it. I have not updated yet. I was waiting to update to A. Retain the current token store and B. I was told you only match up with non update people so you increase your chances of bot matches

I mean they have similar knowledge abilities, but neither say Tap this.

Where are you going to tap if it doesn't say that? There isn't a visible deck on screen unlike the other two.

Well, you have to tap the cards played for Daredevil or the location for Uatu. There's just no deck spot to tap so they have to make it doubly clear.

just had a game where we both snapped early, they played 32 power black panther on turn 5, I had priority and Shang Chi and played it on the Black Panther on 6, they played Kang and saw my turn, and then they stayed in and played Zola to the Black Panther location, knowing that it wouldn't work?? Guess they just didn't want those eight cubes.

I'm pretty sure White Queen is based on current cost, so using it after wave is completely random. He could have gotten armor

You can tell what card the enemy steals with White Queen? Man Im bad at noticing this sort of stuff

If you tap the card it will say "created by _____" if it was generated by something

But you can't tell which one they stole till they play it

Just had a game where I played Galactus and the opponent played Wong, Gambit, and Absorbing Man

They kept hitting the Wolverine and buffing it, lmao

Thats rough luck for them. I had somebody use Wong Gambit against me just for him to target the same card protected under Armor twice.

unironically the aero nerf is the biggest nerf to shuri decks (alongside the taskmaster nerf)

i dont think the red skull or she hulk nerfs do too much

debating on continuing my plan and saving my 5400 tokens for thanos or swapping over to kang for now

High Evolutionary sounds more fun than both of them honestly. And that's probably another permanent series 5 card.

I dunno. The Aero nerf also lets a Shuri deck protect the taskmaster by dropping a 1 drop with him

That's why I wish Aero moved the first card. So many effects are based on your last played card, so having to break that up to defend against Aero is good gameplay. But I'm sure they tested both and found this worked better.
