It's not an awful game. I kept with it. There is some depth in there with team composition and when to use supers. I've been running Evil Ryu, Ken, Fei Long and Dee Jay. Dee Jay is kinda lacking as a tank but he does okay if I can have Evil Ryu delete someone quickly. I wish Dan had any apparent use but I'm not seeing it. Not all the B rank guys are bad-- Ken actually does have use that flame aura is awesome if you have him in slot 2. Lots of passive damage.

Some of you guys calling Mad Ryu, "Evil Ryu" are gonna look silly once the real one gets added to the game.

I got around 8-40

I promoted Fei Long to S+ and Guile to S (after hearing hes so great from so many tier lists and people in chats)

it wasn't enough, I was still stuck

...then it finally hit me, my top 4 characters are limited, these two are not

so I resetted both of my Ryus and then poured my resources into Guile and Fei Long, and I got them to 140, and was able to pass the level

as well as 119 of the Tower

funny enough 120 of the tower wasn't as hard

Stuck on 9-40 with two Combat Guiles and an E. Honda on point. lol This one is absurd. I can't even use a mercenary for it yet.

I'm still using Abel, Adon, Chun-Li, and Cammy, but I've switched out for Hakan when I need a second heavy which has worked shockingly well. My only S ranks are Abel, Adon, and Hakan. Working towards getting Abel and Adon to 140 though.

the draft mode is really fun, its easy to get power drunk off of it since , well, you draft characters you normally don't have

I drafted Bison, FASHION SAKURA, and Rose

All people do is get Bision, Gen, Rose, and ABEL of all characters, and they win though.

heres the thing, I got top 50 first day

top 50 IN THE ENTIRE GAME

Bison is a real problem with the game. I feel like they need to nerf him quickly or people are just going to lose interest as they see Bison more and more. I struggle to beat teams 20 levels lower than me just because they run Bison point. It's silly.

the issue is, hes one of few characters you can buy outright

imagine you pay a crazy amount for him and they NERF him. there would be some outrage and the press wouldn't look so good. Or nerfing him doesn't make him look as appealing to the weirdos that want to drop 100 bucks on him

I agree hes a problem, but I think they should just outright BAN him in PVP modes. Thats truly some pay to win bullshit

Two Mad Ryus is a sick joke and I need to wait another day for a mercenary. Maybe grab Beast Gief or something. I can't even take down the Abel in point though.

I can see myself winning a few more levels in Challenge, I'm currently at 9-30, gonna see that 9-40 you're talking about soon haha

but I'm already stuck in Supreme Fist again at around 135

The Global Operation I'm stuck on Frozen Cave, the fight before the final boss theres this crazy Gen that wiped out my party. I can't even imagine the actual boss

I made a big event and a big deal (and a big stream) out of me finally buckling down and drawing more characters and promoting some of my units, which only ended up being Fei Long and Guile

I'm ALREADY stuck again after that. I DO have the means to help myself at this time, I have almost 10k diamonds and around 130 arcade tokens, but I'm starting to see this is gonna be happening way more often than before

I still want to do it a bit at a time and coast for as long as I can, IDK its just against my nature IRL to just WASTE everything at once, I'm too frugal for that, even if it comes to games

I'm at 10-20. 121 on Supreme Fist. The main thing that kept me for a while was 9-40 (I only advanced by drawing another Chun Li to rank her to SS and changing my team). Otherwise just been kinda smooth.

I've had some good luck with draws. I have a SS Chun Li (I also got the $3 Chun Li pack or whatever which gave me an extra Chun Li because I liked the game not gonna go full whale but I like pitching some little bit of money to a game if it's decent) and an S+ Evil Ryu and S+ Fei Long who can be SS once I awaken up some lower rarity. I also have Gen who while as rare as Bison is not nearly as powerful and isn't really used much (but having him is nice for a support as it lets me fiddle with teamcomps more)

Assuming you do dailies the next 10 days or whatever you should be able to get one of Rose or Juri from the tarot shop.

I think Rose is clearly the better choice.

I got stuck on Gen originally, but once I took him down with casualties, I was able to use Mad Ryu to beast through the last boss. I don't think I even wiped on the last enemy. I don't remember it being an issue.

Now the next Operation absolutely fucking sucks. I've ended up having my main squad getting wiped on the second part. They're all 132-140. Everyone is S, no S+. So I may have hit my wall.

Also, I'm on 140 for the Supreme Fist. Can't beat it though yet.

Yeah, they're not gonna nerf Bison. That almost never happens in gacha games, and it would open Crunchyroll and Capcom to liabilities because people have spent money getting Bison.

Like what may do instead is have an even more OP unit like say, Akuma.
Or they have a unit that counters M. Bison's passive, like they can block enemy healing or ignore the immunity.

Bison would be fine if he spent more time down before reviving. It's just that you can kill him on Combo Open and then Combo 2, he'll already be revived and in your way before you can take out the next character.

Balance changes in gacha isn't unheard of

The problem is Bison is in a "buy this guy for $99" pack which is actually a bit weird in a gacha

I just wish Bison would move back when you kill him. It sucks that you kill him and then he just gets up and you gotta kill him again

I've started using Cody to pull people forward lol

I think you can do slight nerfs to make him less effective but still incredibly strong and not be an issue. But it's hard for gacha, yeah.

Up his resurrection time or reposition him on resurrect to position 2 and I think he's probably fine (at some level)

i beat 10-40 somehow. the only thing that really changed was that i got level 5 fighting spirit for cammy, which buffs / gives her something extra when set as an assist fighter. so i did that and won, i assume with some favorable fight RNG?

How in the world were you able to buff your fighting spirit? I've never gotten any level up tokens for them.

I got to the last fight in Arctic Lake, but it had a Bison. I went through my whole roster and only managed to get the final Elena down to 10% health and Bison was still reviving. This sucks. Bison just kept reviving and doing AOE damage and there's nothing I could do.

but NOW the problem is the game wants me to promote THEM too so now I have to hope for an another one of them

I hate how this game you have to get lucky several times in a row, not just once

OH And I got a Gen too. I don't think hes very usable as an A rank thougyh but admittedly I don't understand him either

also, theres some dread dawning over me, its not looking like I'm gonna get the 14 grown thing

theres way too many "Get 70 A ranks" or "get SS rank" stuff

I guess I COULD draw a few more times and the prize would REPLENISH my stock, but I wish I could have my CURRENT stock +50 coins lol

What I hate about these growth things is I failed Shadowloo on the first cycle and missed the second one so I'm locked out of doing cumulatives. As well as the later "log in X days" challenges.

figured it out, you get them from the chests periodically for pulling characters (in the top right corner, 0/30, 0/20, etc.). your character has to be SS to use them though

I just tried it again this morning and beat it. Mad Ryu is so busted. He just bodies. lol

OH MY GOD I FINALLY BEAT 10-40! AHHHHHH!

I used Abel - Mad Ryu - Chun-Li - Beast Zangief on manual.

I was able to start timing perfectly Beast Zangief SP3 to interrupt their combo.

Chun > Abel > Beast > Mad Ryu

I can't believe I actually did it and it feels like complete dumb luck still but I finally got it. Jesus. That was absurd.

Yeah, the specifics are Chun-Li's SP1 lowers defense and hits everyone, Abel gives armor to everyone, Beast interrupts, and Mad Ryu just massacres and hopefully confirms a kill to start spamming his passive Hadoukens.

The timing I got was after I got one special bar, I would wait until Chun-Li hit her Kikoken (she also has the speed up fighting soul with Juri, so equip that on her) and then I just mashed every attack in order. Abel went down after two go's but everyone stayed standing for the last enemy.

Beast Zangief was key though. Without him interrupting the combos, everyone just gets wiped so hard.

Ayyyy I was just able to use the same strategy to clear Supreme Fist Floor 140.

But I regret to inform everyone that chapter 11 and Supreme Fist 141+ is also extremely hard.

Got Floor 150 on Supreme Fist. Trying to make any progress in Trial Shadaloo Hideout but that one is just ridiculous. I can't get past the first part to any other chests.

I'm chugging along chapter 11 but that one is still a bit tough. I can probably make good headway on it. Fortunately I'll be getting a lot of tokens from the 14 day growth so I might get lucky with pulls to beef up my team more.

The grind continues.
