Yeah, I've been closer to dropping this game now just because it's so predatory. Characters locked entirely behind paywalls is gross. But then having rewards also being locked behind those paywalled characters, when those paywalled characters aren't even available to purchase? That's really bad.

I like the novelty of Street Fighter stuff, but I just kind of hate the way this game is run. Especially when there doesn't seem to be any balance stuff being done. Just more paid content to buy. And I've already capped out on my character building aside, and the only thing I can do to improve them are leveling up, which kind of sucks.

I dunno. I just think this game is only going to get worse with the predatory practices, and I'm thinking I'm better off getting out of it now before that.

I can say this, the game is already on a decline revenue wise. It's still making millions, but it's like 2 million instead of 5 or 8 million from before.

Now this could be normal as the first months pass by, and these games tend to be heavily front-loaded, but Crunchyroll has been known to axe games when the revenue really starts dipping and sometimes on short notice.

The one possible saving grace is that this game is handled by A Plus instead of Crunchyroll outside of the US, but their side of the game is only making a fraction of what it makes through Crunchy.

Given the awful reputation the game has since the start, I wouldn't be that surprised if the game only lasts like a year in the end. I guess we'll see in the upcoming months if keeps bleeding in revenue or if it ever stabilizes.

What also really bugs me is them clearly making fighters who are regular elements like Flame Chun-Li or Vega and turning them into Infernal or Fashion to force purchases. There's only been a small handful of elemental releases since launch which is pretty shitty too.

I just don't foresee it improving.

That's actually what makes people think it's an oversight with the new event mission, because they say you need to use Flame Chun-Li for the best reward in that fight, but she's not available to purchase now and was, after getting all the discount tokens $29.99. So even if you wanted to use her for completion and were willing to pay for her, you straight up can't now. But in the Japanese version she's be available to just pull regularly still.

It's better than the alternative which is believing they're setting up for incentivizing for people to purchase these characters ahead of time to complete missions. Which feels more gross.

But regardless, the fact it has no intention of being resolved just sucks. And that you can't get her or Nero or a few other characters without purchasing is awful. Even more awful is characters who are temporary but have extremely rare pulls are completely useless at the simple A rank. You need SSS rank to make them viable, which costs hundred on hundreds of dollars for pulls for a chance for that. You're more than likely needing to spend over $1000 to make them viable in play for special summoning.

Just gross practices all around, and it gets worse as time goes on. With more easily accessible free content, they're more likely to keep things active and spend, but not when things seem so crazy unattainable.

this is the most involved in an event I have ever been, I have actually been making the top 50 in the leaderboards, beating up Juri, Vergil, Nero, and Demon Vergil

I did not make top 50 with Nero but looks like I"m on the way to do it with D. Vergil

You get a frame every time you get top 50 but every consecutive time it becomes flashier

So tomorrow, I'm gonna make sure I get it!

I feel cool too because in the Milestone section I was the first to score a certain amount of points too and it displays it

I have A BUNCH of SSS characters now, my Max Level is 315 and I'm at 295

things are looking up at the moment

finally, I mentioned it earlier but I have consistently been top 10 in Arena, I even took 2nd in Battle Royale and I got top 10 in Ladder

if you get top 10 in Ladder, you are qualified to compete in Final Showdown, that tourney they hold all-servers-wide.
