Sultan - Honestly this is like, cookiecutter Sultan. Says some stuff that people jump on him for, then we eventually go 'oh it's just sultan' then someone still wants to apply pressure to him, sultan OMGUSes them, and we all move on with the day. Town.

The second part where he explained his thinking felt like it came from a really town place. Specifically it's the context around the post - I voted been initially half as a joke but half because he dropped that read with seemingly nothing to go off of, early in the game. The context of that post, with how reactions to my vote and to dumey playing defense for him in particular, gave me a very strong town read given the game state up to that point.

I think i remember a game where a scum Sultan was on the same team as sbell, but i don't remember any of the qualities of that game.

Another question from the newb, are we either discouraged or straight up not allowed to theorize possible roles based on the flavor? Something like 'I think there are X number of scum players, and I think one of them is soandso from the first Paper Mario". Would that fall under the metagaming is allowed but not encouraged banner?

It would break my heart and mafia spirit permanentely if Cody was scum, so I believe he is town.

1) I seem like town to everyone, or at least not nearly as scummy as other players, or

2) Votes on me were just a means to generate discussions and reactions. Which, in hindsight, is probably why I always get voted Day 1!

Based off what they said, Han, Lea, and Sultan were probably reason 1. Peaf... he gave an explanation for why he voted me, but who is he on now?

What reads do people have on dumey? I feel like he's been here quite a bit but i haven't really been able to see him one way or the other at all. I missed his vote on isquen so i obviously need to reread. And yet, i haven't seen many people say anything about him one way or the other.

Jc said "different from last game" But that that doesn't mean anything, and i think Ulti early on was saying that dumey was different from his last scum game... but dumey was town on d1 then. Either way the comparison is only of one data point, which jc pretty much acknowledges.

I am getting contradictory signals because outlandish statements for no reason is a scummy thing to do but Peaf seems completely oblivious to why this is a problem
