He also put words in isq's mouth, something he did a whole lot of last game. So keep an eye on him after he pushes my lynch today :)

What reads do people have on dumey? I feel like he's been here quite a bit but i haven't really been able to see him one way or the other at all. I missed his vote on isquen so i obviously need to reread. And yet, i haven't seen many people say anything about him one way or the other.

Jc said "different from last game" But that that doesn't mean anything, and i think Ulti early on was saying that dumey was different from his last scum game... but dumey was town on d1 then. Either way the comparison is only of one data point, which jc pretty much acknowledges.

I can elaborate on what I meant by this. Dumey had this 'objective voice of reason' vibe while last game's D1 chaos was happening and even in relation to other discussions. He chimed in and it always seemed helpful. There isn't as much shit hitting the fan so I don't think the opportunity to act like that has necessarily arisen, though I have seen more shitposting from Dumey this game. He didn't come across as a shitposter last game.

I also cant be here for deadline, and I will say my mind is going towards Kirby right about now. But my mind is also half gone at this point.

There have been a couple disputes this game. Han and Sbell, Sultan and HB. But the one that I've always thought ended feeling like scum/town, or even scum/scum, is Dumey and Peaf.

Initially i remember liking peaf more when the exchange between the two first happened. But over the course of the day I like Dumey more. The ISO posts would be pretty excessive for scum on day 1. Peaf also dropped his willingness to vote Dumey today, while Dumey is still poking at Peaf.

I dont like poeaf saying I'm 100% town and then taking it back because others gave him an out.

Finally, Peaf felt like the "I want to lynch Sbell" of Han this game. That is why i was waiting on Han to vote to see if he was avoiding peaf. But I'm too impatient..

Give scum a chance to shoot him first.

I didn't really put words in Isquen's mouth. Let's not treat that like it's a real thing.

And last game was easy because Town walked to their deaths a lot.

This is a case where things I've pushed just haven't settled.

As for Dumey, he's been with me against you, so like, there's unity there.

IDK part of me does just want to No Lynch, I'm not sure we really get a whole lot of info unless we specifically lynch Kirby, Sultan, or just go mad with specialing at end of day.

I'm kind of there with you. And now that I've had some time to think, while I appreciate that he wasn't really doing much beyond applying pressure, I still don't like the look of the overall move to Isquen. Not being gung-ho on lynching Isquen doesn't stop it from looking like he was leading horses to (poisoned, for the analogy's sake) water

I find it not very genuine to say "Ben is 100% town", but then later "Not anymore because he hasnt said another thing that I can say makes him 100% town in the last 48 hours".

I'm just annoyed right now.

Annoyed that Isquen ran away. Annoyed that no one else pressured him to claim, even though multiple people reacted to his soft claim before. Annoyed that he'll get away with it because we're discussing other options now. Annoyed that people complain about how nobody is voting or applying pressure and we've had two games now where D1 is ending with no strong lynch leaders. I guess I forgot that people's votes aren't for pressure and they're just cosmetic virtue signaling that you're active. Han has a couple people express that they're not so sure on him anymore and he just backs off.

I have to leave in an hour so I'll miss deadline (I mentioned this earlier). But honestly I just want to leave my vote on Isquen as a policy lynch for not playing the game because he finally was interacting with people but didn't like "being lectured at".

I'd like to say I did try to be a "voice of reason" during the HB stuff. I think the major difference from last game to this is that not many people are actually trying to have conversations or ask me questions. Last game I feel like I got that "voice of reason" attributed to me because I had to explain my reasoning behind things three to four times as clarification.

But I've always been a shit poster.

I am criticizing how people are playing. But I've also tried to find scum today. I did Iso's last night when no one was posting otherwise. My complaining doesn't invalidate what I've done the rest of the day. I think I have a right to feel annoyance that Isquen tucked his tail and ran.

Peafs change of heart on Ben was at least telegraphed.
