OK, in an effort to try and contribute something on day 1, I went back and looked over who all was answering my questions, or genuinely being helpful to me as a new player. It was actually predominantly the same few people.

I don't really know that there's anything to read from this, but my gut tells me that at least one person on this list will end up being scum. Being friendly to the token new person feels like a good way to create a positive relationship that could potentially be exploited later in the game. I wouldn't advocate voting any of them in particular off of this, especially on day 1, but I thought it might be worth noting for down the line.

Or they're all just helpful, considerate people. I appreciate y'all :)

Being helpful to the new player is an easy way for scum to score points.

That said that is a decent list of people to like I suppose.

I also read Isquen's post as claiming if he dies, we wouldn't be losing the most important role, as opposed to something that can gather information for town.

I would believe that there's at least one in that list.

Yeah I figured this, which is why I thought to go back and check.

Even if someone does it as scum, it is still appreciated on my end. I'm just won't be putting anyone on a pedestal for being nice.

Good call out. I agree that at least one is definitely scum. Points to you for aggregating it all into one place.

Oh. I saw that but missed this.

I was busy all yesterday afternoon and night. Today i thought I was going to be able to catch up at work but I'm gonna have to drive around all day. Very frustrating

Suddenly feeling less righteous about my vote.

I am not caught up at all in the slightest, but I've gotten swept up in some work stuff and will likely not be here at end of day. @ me for any urgent questions
