Probably Kirby, but a lot of the other remasters or whatever looked solid too. After that stuff probably Sea of Stars and then GBA content. Most of it was at least somewhat interesting other than DLC waves for games I wont buy and BotW2 which I have no interest in playing at all. Glad Advance Wars is gonna release this year

We Katamari remaster
I might check out the EO collection on easy mode. Not sure about drawing maps without a touchscreen and stylus though.
The only thing I wanted from this Direct was Silksong or Deltarune, and it failed on that front. Other than those games I'm at the point in my life where new games just don't get me excited

really tough decision here. loved seeing pikmin 4, samba de amigo, ghost trick, decapolice, eo1-3, the stuff for xenoblade3/splatoon3/fengage, the magalor stuff for kirby (even though remaster seems iffy even with it...), katamari stuff, baten kaitos hd set, fantasy life (shame it's apparently fresh off the heels of them shutting down the online game), layton, powerpro in english...

but i think what excites me most is that classic atelier is returning. not convinced yet that the style they're going for here is ideal (really seems like a kind of worst case scenario kind of compromise to neither remake it into a full scale modern title nor just do an enhanced port, and it also gives off hard bdsp vibes) but if that's the price to bring atelier marie outside of japan i'm kind of fine with it

also the new bokunatsu spinoff is very interesting too, hoping it's due for a localisation like the other entries had since attack of the friday monsters... also i really hope they're not planning to use this new art style in the long term but for a one-off thing it's a neat thing to try out. and also hoping that upcoming momotetsu game can get a localisation finally

etrian odyssey the most. interested to see if they will use the skill trees, maps, and game balance from untold 1/2, use the data from the original games, or do something new with it. also since 3 never got an Untold version it'll be very interested to see what they do with that.

release date for advance wars is pretty cool.

the new emblems look pretty cool. if I understood the teaser correctly it seemed like chrom/robin actually share an emblem as a 'bonded' pair which is neat. also if camilla comes with a paralogue that matches her joining chapter that could be insanely hype, as conquest 10 is one of the best fire emblem maps of all time.

Oops I really messed up the poll options huh

GBA games are pushing me closer to Switch Online than I've ever been before, but I still don't like the Expansion Pack on principle. I'll wait til they add more games first at any rate.

Personally I'm too disappointed by no Prime 2 to be happy about Prime 1!

I lol'd seeing Camilla come up but good point, she may well have a good paralogue.

Is anyone else concerned about Zelda? I understand not giving away everything pre-release but they've shown us so little, I feel like they've not even attempted to describe why this game exists. My fav part of BotW was the exploration of this massive new world, so if we're stuck on the same map that would be very disappointing. New items, enemies, and vehicles is not gonna cut it, I can only hope they're hiding some massive mechanic that will turn the world on its head.

I think looking at that trailer again it shows a huge amount while not showing that much. Underground, vehicles, flying, loads of new abilities. Looks pretty incredible. There will likely be a dedicated direct for it though.

If this actually turned into some sort of EO3 Untold that's what would get my interest more than anything. As it is, I already have all the EO games so $80 just to get straight remakes doesn't have much value.

it would be easier for me to vote for the thing i cared about the least. it pays to be invested in a lot of games ig. i think my friends were driven nuts by me keysmashing "ghost trick" in chat twelve times in a row. ended up voting for prime instinctually, being a game that is truly special to me.

i am also parroting some folks here about my hopes that lost kingdoms is the next gamecube game to get a rerelease, remaster, etc. make this duology a trilogy pretty please?
