Not sure how much of the game I'll catch, but I kind of like the Cowboys to win tonight. Either that, or they'll get blown out, but I think Purdy's going to get exposed at some point. Well, he will if he has to face a good defense, so maybe not.

Pollard's injury is especially shitty for him because it could very easily cost him real money on his next contract.

And for the Cowboys/as a fan, if the game's at all close at the end, it's gonna feel real shitty as a fan thinking that he could've been the difference maker.

This feels like it's heading to 19-18 with Dallas having to choose what to do and a foreboding sense among all Cowboys fans that no matter what they do it will be the wrong one.

It's always been "in reach", but it's never felt like they were actually going to do it.

The expectation (at least from me) was a near-blowout though.

Would 100 times rather play the 49ers than the Eagles if we can win next week.

Nah, I knew Dallas had the capacity to hang with SF. I didn't really get the people who were predicting a beatdown, but they had to play well on offense to win and they didn't.

And now I've got to root for the Eagles because SF is a Super Bowl rematch with both AFC teams, unfortunately.

My faith in SF to beat the Eagles has diminished but ultimately I went into the playoffs with them as my Super Bowl loser.
