I'd post my predictions but it's all chalk. Hoping the Giants upset the eagles though

Based on what we've seen all year, is anyone (unbiased) picking anything other than Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers? Hard to imagine pick'em doesn't just come down to Bengals/Bills and tiebreakers

Eagles and 49ers have clearly been the two best NFC teams, as long as Hurts is approximately what he was prior to sitting with the injury

I'm way more confident in the Chiefs and 49ers than I am in the Eagles.

Chiefs basically get a second bye. Jags aren't quite there yet. But I think they will be next year.

Giants going to prove the Eagles frauds! Just like they did the Vikings. (or at least I hope so.)

Eagles are still clearly better than the Giants, but if Hurts is noticeably hampered by his injury, it could cause problems.

Jags have the capability to score a lot of points against the Chiefs if they can stay out of their own way. They can't stop Mahomes though, so they've got to turn it into a "last team with the ball wins" game.

I don't count as unbiased, but Purdy hasn't seen a pass rush as good as what Dallas will bring. Plus, you've got to figure the dude will look like a 7th round rookie at some point, right? SF's running game could carve up Dallas pretty badly though.

I think the Bills win because the Cincinnati offensive line is in tatters now, but I'll never count out Joe Burrow in a big game after he beat my Titans despite 9 sacks last year.

On paper the Eagles and 49ers rosters are really so absurd. Neither has any business losing. The Eagles secondary is one of the more remarkable groups I've seen in a while, and they have everybody back now... kinda rooting for that position group to go on a tear and just start blanking people.

Btw, I looked this up the other day, would anyone care to guess how many players from the Eagles super bowl win over the pats 5 years ago are on this current roster?

I've had the 49ers losing in the Super Bowl for... Quite some time now.

I spent at least two months saying the Eagles felt like a team that was going to lose their first playoff game... And if they were playing either of the other two teams in the NFC I wouldn't pick them today.

Also, can anyone think of a rookie QB that has entered a better situation of skill players than Purdy has? Some people might (not me, but one could try to) argue that McCaffrey, Deebo and Kittle are all top 3 if not 1 at their position, and Aiyuk has been no slouch as a WR2. And then beyond the skill positions Purdy has Trent Williams & Mike McGlinchey at tackle and obviously on the other side of the ball Bosa, Warner, Greenlaw, Hufanga, etc... has there ever been a QB in his rookie year who's started games for a team with a better roster around them?

Mahomes entered a pretty good situation, although he didn't play as a rookie. The Cowboys were really good Dak's rookie year, too.

For the purpose of the trivia I'm not counting "first year as a starter" like Mahomes, only actual rookie year.

Dak is an interesting one but he didn't have any receivers right? That's why they went and got Amari Cooper and then eventually drafted CeeDee. And I don't remember the defense being nearly that good although I think they did have the great O line at the time and got Zeke the same year.

Maybe Andrew Luck? trying to go through my memory...

edit: no, Luck had Reggie Wayne and a pretty good defense his first year, but they didn't get any RB for him for a while

mahomes gets "kind of hurt" in the playoffs like every year. hennie's always good for one game

Hes limping and hopping, he looks like hes a sack away from being out for the rest of the game at minimum

Mahomes is out for now, and the Jags just totally blew a field goal opportunity.

And after blowing said field goal opportunity, they pinned the Chiefs and Chad Henne to the 1.

No Mahomes no problem.

I thought they might score anyway but that was sure easy.

Love how the same exact hit on the QB doesn't get a "roughing" penalty the 2nd time. Of course, it should have never been a penalty the first time but some consistency would be nice to see.

You let Chad Henne walk right down the field, but you stop that?

Now is when the Chiefs score a TD in like 50 seconds and tell the Jags to go away

I'm actually wondering if they might be better off with Henne in. The injury is really showing in his throws.

So far it's essentially the game I expected, just with one less TD on each side

And there goes the obvious easy TD drive, even with Mahomes missing three throws badly.

Jags never had a chance. Chiefs let teams like them hang around.

Chiefs are trying not to cover, but the Jags are having none of it.

Ahh well, it was a good season. We did better than anyone expected. We'll be back next season, with a better O-line, Calvin Ridley, and some help on Defense.

Proud of my Jags, really fun and memorable season. They exceeded expectations. Lets see what we can do with everyone in their 2nd year under Pederson and Calvin Ridley added to the mix. I believe Pederson + Lawrence is a good enough combo to win a Super Bowl, lets see if they can do it

Giants defense is starting the game looking almost as bad as they did for 3 1/2 quarters against the Vikings.

Hurts was 5/5 for 68 yards nevermind it's just as bad.

It's still in the first quarter but I'm already picking up the scent of a blowout in progress.

I feel like it didn't even take one full quarter to prove everyone was right when they said Giants/Vikings was between the two biggest frauds in the playoffs.

The Giants had a chance if Hurts wasn't 100%, but he seems fine and this defense is again godawful and never covers any receivers.

Talking heads spent all week gushing over this defense and I was wondering if any of them actually bothered to watch the game against Minnesota where for 3 1/2 quarters, the only thing that stopped the Vikings from getting TDs on every drive was the Vikings.

We have the Eagles right where we want them!! (no we don't.)

The only chance the Giants had was no Jones turnovers...and that was an awful one.

Yep and yep.

But realistically speaking the Giants are not a playoff caliber team and were by far the worst team left in the playoffs entering this week.

They needed gifts from the Eagles and they've already given them instead.
