A guy who flourishes with the Dolphins at home in December may struggle in a Week 18 away game against any of their rivals, as the Dolphins are an anomaly in divisional geography. Buffalo meanwhile actually benefits from playing the Dolphins in Miami in January. Buffalo at points this season had one of the highest rushing yardage, due to Allen being quick on taking chances when they came up. Like, I can't fault the players too bad when the play calling was bad on both sides of the ball. The scheme worked in the way it was run, with utilizing the RB's when needed and relying on Allen to be the playcaller. After he got damaged, he was not the same. At that point, we needed a different offensive scheme, but didn't have the pieces for it and relied on the old ideas. As for defense, I think what someone said about bad coaching and stellar talent might have some merit.
