Typhoid Mary only lowers your side, not the opponent.

Damn you're right.... it synergizes well with Luke and Hazmat but doesn't mess with the opponent enough.....

The widow thing wouldn't just take up a spot too, it'd be another thing on the field to infect with negative power! Widow does seem like a good add.

Swap out Mystique, who is literally useless in this deck, for Debrii

Squirrel map, only 1 card can be played here map and transform map that turned into squirrel map. My opponent finished the map, but like 3/4 cards in the left and right lane for both of us were squirrels since we both also played Squirrel Girl. He couldnt even play a card for like the last 2 turns, but at least he didnt retreat

Damn got 4 new cards today from upgrading others and still no Angela. Got Yondu, Dr. Strange, Lizard and Onslaught.

The number of times Ive played Enchantress thinking I had bigbrained an ongoing card like D Dino only to realize her ability only works On Reveal.

Just going to finish up series 3 impressions as I get them.

Aero - Had her a while. She seems really good bit I haven't found a deck that I've made her do work in. I think I might be thinking too comboey I'm like "yeah use Kingpin and drop her turn 6!" and yeah that's cool but I feel like being less clever and having her move the turn 5 drop into a lane you're winning convincingly might just be better.

Mojo - Seems good for a weenie ongoing deck and Spectrum but also just strong in general I guess. Haven't really used him yet not a particular fan of the character is probably why. Also just haven't made a ton of new decks lately.

Hela - I'd wanted her for a while. I figured I'd wait till Invisible Woman to try something with her. Well I had a clown Cerebro 6 deck with her but I'm not sure that's working.

Invisible Woman - Ha I got her the very next drop-- game wants me to play Hela. Now I try making a Hela deck and something still isn't working? Doesn't help that I still don't have Giganto I guess but I think I'm doing something wrong in the execution less so than the fatties. Any insight on how this deck type is supposed to play is appreciated.

Black Bolt - Kinda like this guy. I feel like if you were to play Wong -> Black Bolt you'd be likely to make them have to top deck a turn 6 play which seems good. I will definitely try to make him work at some point.

The Hood - I don't like him in my Deadpool deck as is but I do have ideas. Also maybe I should try to put him in my Deadpool deck. Ha. Good card to get, still thinking what to do.

Death - Hey finally got her maybe I should just redo my Deadpool deck entirely now. I don't have Wave though so I'm thinking I'll wait till Wave to really lean into her. I guess she's good in a Hela deck too since Sif will always hit her.

Theres a datamined card, Stature, which should help Black Bolt quite a bit. 5/7, costs 1 if your opponent has discarded a card from their hand this game

With Aero and Black Cat being moved to 7 I've been having some luck with a Cerebro 7 deck (idea is that Onslaught and vision have 7 power so you get a pretty tricky turn 6. Also Ebony Maw can be a surprise there). We'll see if it actually holds up though.

Stature would actually work well in this deck as well as I'm currently using Moon Knight as well (not Black Bolt, too much power)

I like to see that they are buffing poorly used cards in an attempt to get them into atleast some level of use

It was literally part of Hearthstone's design that they would put cards into expansions that weren't worth using, and they would basically never ever buff cards - only nerf cars if they became extremely oppressive. That meant a lot of the collection was pretty useless. Neat to see the opposite here.

Kinda funny last turn. He went Brood-> Patriot -> Surfer. I went Cerebro + Cosmo with priority.

His Surfer going off moved Cerebro from 10 back to 7 which allowed me to win the other two lanes by 1. Which I figured I'd only need Cerebro if he won that middle lane anyway.

So uh, how do you optimally use freaking Sauron?

I'm struggling to come up with a way to make a deck work effectively with him.

Edit: Best I got is it'll be good for stuff like Typhoid Mary and Red Skull but who else? Too late to use it for Ebony Maw unless it ruins his turn 3 restriction.

Load your deck up with cards that you'd normally play after Zero.

Lizard would be another good one.

Saurons technically good for Electro but it may be difficult to play both in the same match effectively

I'm pretty sure Sauron removes all of the card text so Electro wouldn't do anything if he's played after Sauron.

I'm feeling in a bit of a rut with Marvel Snap lately. I'm at a point where it's not very much fun as a casual game because you get cards so rarely you're basically just playing the same decks over and over. And it's not very much fun as a competitive game because it's such a slog climbing the ladder.

You need to play like 50 hours a month to hit infinite with a decent deck or something and what's the point of doing that?

I keep buying the battle passes later and later in the month because I'm talking myself out of it but I think I definitely won't be buying the Zabu pass.

Hearthstone spices things up with a new expansion every 3 months and it just feels like I've been playing basically the same game for the past 3 months with Marvel Snap. It's starting to get a little stale.

I agree and I wasn't even playing during beta. The ladder is 100% a slog and the rewards aren't even worth it tbh

Id been playing a lot, but being brand new I had the early unlock experience. Its a fun game, but yeah I could see it getting stale due to how long it takes to get new stuff to play around with.

Yeah but then why am I playing at all really? Finding it harder to answer that question lately!

I'll just stop spending money (only bought the battle passes so far) and see if I keep losing interest.

Nowhere close to finishing Series 3 though so I cant say my experience is comparable

I can do you one better, my most recent card was Crystal.

I dunno I guess at some point I'll run out of decks to experiment with but I'm nowhere near feeling grindy. But I love trying out weird stuff in games like this-- if I was just running the same decks that work over and over yeah I'd get bored pretty quick I figure.

I just now realized that Yellowjackets effect is on reveal, not ongoingso I literally have no idea how to use him.

Was thinking hed be fun to shoot over with Viper, but hes just pure ass.

Ah, I missed that Sauron removes "the abilities" of Ongoing cards, not just the Ongoing ability. In that case it WOULD work with Ebony Maw though right

Yellowjacket is fine if you just play it early. Obviously Wasp is often preferable but he works too, good for Lockjaw. And of course you can play him in a deck with Luke Cage

You just play him before you play anything else on the lane and he's a free 2 power. Not really many decks that use him though.

Klaw by far. He's just rare enough that people assume you never have him, and powerful enough to solidify 2 lanes at once.

I finally tried a Wong Odin deck. Feels strong but fair tbh. Turn 6 can require a good bit of math though. I've messed up a couple times, using Doom instead of Odin or vice versa.

Now that we have Orka, the Cerebro 14 deck can become reality with Agatha and Giganto

Funniest win. He played Infininaut Round 6 and Lockjaw Round 3. Maybe a bit too clever for his own good here I would have won just playing Aero mid too. Going to assume he had a lot of on reveals with lockjaw and figured that was his only way to win.

Played a person who was also running a Squirrel Girl deck with almost all the same cards as me. We ended up Spider-Man pointing a couple times especially when last turn we both played Onslaught. It was fairly amusing to me. I dont think Scarlet Witch is generally part of the deck, but she can be helpful if the locations screw me over.

I finally got Angela at CL190. Think Im almost done with the first batch now. The only card off the top of my head I can name that Im missing without checking is Wolverine

My opponent played Morph on an empty spot, copying my Galactus. Board gets destroyed.

The spot blocks 4,5,6 costs, so I played Forge and 1-cost Death, buffing my strength out of control. I snap.

My opponent fist bumps and to my surprise, lets the last turn play out, handing me four cubes. I guess he was rewarding me for a hilarious game.

Aww well I just discovered if you play Angela and then the location adds squirrels or raptors it doesnt count as them being played so she doesnt get any power :(

Tip for Angela: play Nightcrawler there and then you can move him out and play ANOTHER card there as well

With the way Angela works its kinda weird shes recommended for a Squirrel Girl deck. Squirrels add nothing to her power and cant be moved. I mean Carnage exists, but he costs the same as Angela and then youd still have 1 card in that location not counting for her power boost I think?

you definitely wouldnt play squirrel girl before angela, and youd play her in the same lane as angela. but the main synergies for squirrel girl in that deck are kazar/blue marvel buffing all of them
