Yeah most decks have multiple ways to win since you wont always draw a specific card

I hate Angela

Her stats are good I guess for a 2 cost if you can play 3-4 cards around her but I don't like how hard she influences my play both on turn 1 (playing something like Nightcrawler or Squirrel Girl are both not optimal) and then also forces me to play cards in her zone. I feel like her stats aren't worth the loss of flexibility

I contend shes still strong in Pool 1 play

she's still strong even with the nerf. 2/6 is good.

2/6 is very good, but to reach her full potential you need to commit pretty hard to one lane.

Tbh it's not that bad- it just can't be that your turns 3 to 6 are based around playing single cards on curve. Antman is super good with her. 10power in one lane for 3 cost if you figure out the other two cards

and if you're committing 4 cards to a lane, maybe you leave another one empty and throw in Warpath

Just had an amusing match. I had Wanda ready to use on TVA, but turn 3 location reveal she got shuffled into my hand. Ended up winning a location with a 1 power squirrel lol

Is there a worse challenge than "win this location with one card" ones?

Couple ways to win those easily

Prof X (maybe with Daredevil support)
move/summon something into an otherwise unplayable location
use Klaw for support from another location

Klaw + Prof X pretty much does it for free yeah. Big 6 drops can do it too.

I dust off my namor + klaw + onslaught deck for that cause my boy namor needs some spotlight and it can be funny

its not as funny when they have shang chi though

hidden cosmo is my favorite thing to do on dark dimension

my second favorite is to have a hidden enchantress to block sneaky end-of-game wong combo attemps

Honestly if you dont play Cosmo on Dark Dimension you deserve whatever combo they set up there

gotta make sure youre winning on turn 5 though

Thats true too. I think it still counts even if you retreat, as long as its after turn 3

Any mission that you can trigger like 10% of the time is not worth worrying about. You'll get it eventually.

There's also the option to Hobgoblin a lane before winning it with one card.

Galactus LOVES locations that have been Hob'd.

This is the sort of thing that happens every single time I try to win a location with one card. Like the game conspires against me ever getting a location with one card.

I just switch to my Destroyer deck when I need that mission

Those annoying missions are usually week 1 or week 2 in the month so you'll just get it by playing games normally eventually.

So what Pool 2 stuff is really good? Not like Ill be unlocking them very fast, but just looking up what characters are in it without seeing their abilities/powers Im probably most excited about Bucky, Jubilee, Okoye, Shang-Chi, Storm & Vision.

Sunspot is probably the most versatile card in series 2. The only card I would say is outright bad is probably Sandman.

Besides what you mentioned the best cards in Pool 2 are probably Iceman, Scorpion, and Sunspot. They're all a little boring but just good in a lot of decks. Iceman and Scorpion slot into basically any deck that needs a few early cards to play.

First pool 2 card I got is The Collector. My Squirrel Girl deck has been pretty consistent and now Ive breach the 40s.

Kinda want to build a different deck now, but not sure what to try out.

I think the worst card is Rhino. I cant imagine why you would ever use him over Scarlet Witch

Collector works well with Pool 1 cards like Sentinel and Moon Girl

Youll be glad to know that all those cards are very useful.

Sandman is very good in zoo because you usually build a lead then play it then just follow up with your usual bombs

Vision is awesome I'll have no besmirching Vision.

Also here's funny anti-Cosmo yomi that I was confident enough to gamble cubes on (I knew it was a 3 drop because the turn 4 was + 1 sunspot power so to me Cosmo just made sense)

Who says winning a location with 1 card is annoying? I did it with a squirrel twice. Sanctum can be a free location win sometimes so that helps.

Im sorry but this is nuts. Vision is a 7 strength you can move whenever you want, and Sabretooth has his uses for the same reasonwhen he gets destroyed, you get to play him at the same power he was at before for free.

So this new Chinese New Year event, why is Psylocke one of the target cards, isnt she Japanese? (Granted they still observe it there too) Aero, the character Marvel made specifically for the Chinese market, wouldve made a lot more sense

He doesn't destroy the cards that haven't flipped yet so you can play him first then other cards that same turn at least

(Same logic for all destroy cards like carnage)

Sabretooth is a 3/4 which is vanilla stats so the only benefit you get from playing him is from destroying him.

So Carnage could get +2 (turning Sabretooth into a 3/6 effectively) which still isn't very good.

Or Venom eats him which makes him a 3/8 (3/4 in a lane and +4 power on Venom). So that's okay but not GREAT.

Yeah it's nice to have a free 4 power on the final turn but you still had to pay 3 mana for him so he's not really free. So you basically get to move him once but worse because you can't play him into unplayable lanes.

He just doesn't fit into many decks unfortunately.

Vision is better but mainly because you can use him in Lockjaw decks and move him away if Lockjaw pulls him out of your deck. A 5/7 is not great stats and he comes down late enough that you probably know what turn 5 and turn 6 are looking for your opponent. So just play a stronger turn 5 card in the actual lane you want instead of a weaker one with more flexibility.

Yeah, but for some reason I just assumed he wouldnt blow up all the lanes since no other destroy card Id encountered did so yet. Was an amusing way to lose a match at least

Destroyer only works if you build a deck around him with Armor and Professor X to shelter lanes from him, and Cosmo so you can play him without his ability popping if you need to

And of course Colossus is immune

I just think at 3 I would rather play a destroyer card and 5 cards like Hobgoblin/Leech/Klaw have more utility
