I just beat a full combo Drytron going first with my SwoSo Runick deck. He even summoned DPE, Beatrice for Eva into Herald of Orange Light, and the Drytron boss.

He fucking had Maxx C for his last remaining hand too, and I baited him ultra hard. He assumed that I was running pure Runick til the end, negated my Hugin when it was trying to return to the fucking ED, but I run multiple Hugin anyways

That gave me free reign to go all in with my SwoSo combo and destroy his whole board as well as banishing what I presume to be his only copy of Drytron Meteonis with my Chengying by literally banishing my own field spell with Cosmic Cyclone

He had 6 cards in hand because I summoned a lot after Maxx C, but he also shotgunned it, which gave me free reign to chain my other card in my hand to actually summon Hugin in the first place.

Holy balls, that was so gratifying. I was looking at the surrender button multiple times, but he summoned the actual Drytron boss monster instead of Herald. Tbf, his combo was less than optimal so Drytron boss mon was better with 1 card left in hand vs a single Maxx C.

He also probably had no answer to Chixiao Negate into Chengying banish either, so he scooped. I'm also pretty sure he had 1 Meteonis, so that was a good call in banishing it. Chengying is so broken in this deck

Dusted off my Odd-Eyes deck, rusty with the combos. Fucked it up so bad one game that I used all my resources to end on effectively just Vortex. But then it turns out they were playing Labrynth, and whatever cards they had apparently couldn't recover from negating the Welcome they set on my Endphase. >_>

Instead of giving SwordSoul and Despia their own secret packs, looks like Konami's just doing a bonus reprint selection pack. Lame, but it's at least helpful for the newer players currently active so that's something.

Marincess is at least relatively cheap. Only needs 2 in-archetype URs (1 each), so you could probably just craft the deck from scratch if you have to, though it'd be heavy on SR cost

I have a good amount of SR. Not worried about that. I do need bahamut shark to get out toad though.

I still need to learn Predaplants too T.T

One of the biggest fuck you is fighting against Synchron, with nothing to response, then on your turn you drew....Maxx C.

Lost against Galaxy-Eyes because they set one trap card that, if I destroy any Galaxy monster by battle, will destroy and banish all of my cards on field.

Needless to say, I was heartbroken.

Maybe I'm just bad at the game but Charmers feels like a lowkey tough deck to beat. I rarely run into them but when I do they manage to suckerpunch me pretty good. Only barely won with Odd-Eyes.

So I went on a tear in Duelist Cup with Branded Predaplants. Eradicator Epidemic Virus putting in work. Easily won me two duels on it along. Felt go to destroy a Witchcrafter player. 5 wins in a row. Branded PredaPlants have such crazy extensions and synergies its kinda gross

Pulled an Uno Reverse Card on a Predaplant player after I bricked with my Zombies.

Super Poly'd their monsters into Dragostapelia (the predplant fusion with the quick negate). Funny thing is I added this card as a potential out to Branded, never expected to see an actual predaplant player. >_> My turn rolls around and I finally draw Gozuki, which is the missing cornerstone to turn my bricks into a house of pain!

...but being a foolishly good-hearted person, I don't go full combo and just do enough to get lethal on board, thinking it would be rude to just keep going. What I did not know is that Predaplants have a battle hand trap. Nearly cost me my comeback, but they don't topdeck an out to Dragostapelia. Lesson learned. >___>

At 6k gems.

I'm interested in the undeads, partly because it has Red-Eyes (even if Zombie Dragon).

What should I add to that deck if I want to play it?

Edit: why TCG changes undead to zombie, anyway?
I could understand angel/demon to fairy/fiend, but undead is pretty tame term.

Only UR the structure deck is missing from the "core" is Doomking. I prefer running 2 but a lot of people say 1 is fine. You also want 2-3 copies of Shiranui Solitaire to search Uni-Zombie.

Outside of that its really just down to whatever extenders, techs, and supplementary engines you prefer.

Zombie Vampire and Avendread Savior seem to be the ones used across most builds, though neither are a particularly high priority imo. SR Vampire Sucker and Fascinator both come up a decent bit, but should only need one of each.

Main deck, Foolish Burial is an obvious one. Gold Sarc can help trigger Changshi Spiridao or Alghoul Zera. One-for-One searches Glow Up Bloom. Jack O Bolan is a cheap tech.

Vampires in general are a popular mix, though idk much about how to use the main deck vampires.

When Deer Note gets here, a Punk Engine can be very strong. Using E-Tele to go into Ruler and Vampire for a mill 11 without even using your normal summon. Right now Im messing with Psi-Reflector/Assault Beast, which can go into Ruler, but can also be a bit bricky.

I see Runick EVERYWHERE AAAAA--

The last one even used TCBOO and Inspector Boarder.

Yeah Runick requiring zero monster presence for their core strategy gives them the freedom for some of the most degenerate stun bullshit. Would be funny if this is what it finally takes to get Konami to address floodgates.

Went undefeated for 4 rounds at regionals this weekend if anyone wants me to write up a little summary. Lost 2x in a row then dropped after a 3rd loss round 7.

I was at the top table for most of it and it was pretty nice.

I was playing Bystial Spright. I could have played Tearlaments but I've only played them at locals once while I've played Spright since they came out. I mainly started losing due to dumb misplays but I'm overall really satisfied with my results.

I'm likely retiring Sprights now and moving onto Labrynth or Kashtira.

And I think thats it. I have alot of tech in this list like Ghost Ogre and Crossout. And Greedy Venom could easily get cut but I got a prismatic that i want to run for a bit longer. Its quite the toolbox with a ton of recursion. And i'm still learning. Tons of synergy with how many cards can get you fusions, make fusions on their own or recycle to continue to make more fusions. You can really save your Normal summon for when you want to use it or you can do some amazing baits with Albaz/Aluber while still able to go full combo.

Eradicator Virus is so easily to trigger too. I try to set it up with Chimerafflesia as you can get a fusion search on your next standby. Its honestly my new favorite deck. Its gotten pretty popular too.

I fully support this. Ive only used Union carrier for. Few matches to do the buster lock. It didnt even feel fun to play. Its just not good for the game. Much like Rhongo

Brought out Exosisters to do the Xyz mission. Ran into like, 3 consecutive Numeron players lol. God I want Martha so fucking bad.

Gonna save my gems at least until the anniversary in case they drop something cool. Outside that, not sure what I want to build next. Might try pulling for Gravekeepers since I'm gonna want Necrovalley anyway after Tears hit. Maybe Agents/Hyperion. I know they're not good but I used to play with the old structure deck they had and I remember them being fun.

I havent seen a bird brain in ages. I feel like the statue hit really took out a lot of the garbage. Problem is that leave the true degenerate Floo players left

It has no natural predators. Tear came out quicker in both the OCG and the TCG so runicks never got a time to shine In paper. Its now become a menacelike Spider-man!

I still play Floo sometimes, and I'm actually having more fun with the deck now than I did when Barrier Statue was legal. I like Raiza and Harpie Harpist bouncing on the opponent's turn, I have to use my Apex Avian negates at the right time, and Harpie's Feather Storm is still a hilarious turn ender (but not a game winner since Floo lacks the raw killing power to win fast) against a lot of decks.

But yeah banning statue just got rid of their most annoying aspect. But they didn't actually lose that much firepower. They weren't strong solely because statue existed. Statue just got replaced by one more copy of the other tools

They're also stupidly consistent now cuz of like 6 searchers and 3 Robinas, and cuz of the state of the meta, they're less afraid of Impermanence

I somehow managed to lose to 6 different FTK/OTK combos in a span of 8 duels today.

* Exodia FTK
* Update Jammer + Accesscode Talker OTK
* Supreme King + Independent Nightingale FTK

I guess this is karma catching up to me.

So, today I remembered that Lord of the Heavenly Prison protects your opponent's facedown cards as well as your own. Lost to a Dark Magician player because of it.

Raider's Knight into Arc Rebellion scored me my highest damage yet at 22k.

....which makes me even more afraid of a random Magic Cylinder or that one trap I forgot the name that made me receive the damage instead of the opponent.

And I'm not really keen on putting all my eggs on a basket a la Arc Rebellion, but sometimes Borrelsword is out of reach and Raider -> Arc is much easier to summon.

Edit2: had someone surrendering because they didn't expect the existence of 2nd Savage Dragon.

I'm using Rokket/Borrel deck and honestly I should get a Magic Cylinder (and the launcher).

Got my ass kicked by Magnet Warriors of all things. Pretty cool actually.

Same with me and just about most turn 1 plays. They almost always have Ash, its kinda nuts. Its why I dont like playing certain decks anymore.
