Gold's been a pretty solid experience for a while imo.

Though I guess by now there's been enough time that all the diamond players with rank up remorse to have finally made it back down. >_>

Fun fact, just discovered Ghostrick Angel of Mischief auto win has a whole ass animation and stuff. It took an eternity but it was worth it

I am excited for Camellia and Azalea being the new sky striker ace(s) Though I liked the idea of one girl army having the ability to shift into different mecha suits but I am looking forward for the deck to be truly complete with all aces and new spells

Miscasarus ignored this. Is this because cards in the graveyard count as cards the player "controls", or because it wasnt in the graveyard after banishing itself to pay the cost of activation? Just trying to figure out where I went wrong, lol

I believe the bold part has something to do with it. After rereading Misc Im almost positive the reasoning is that its not a true activated effect but an innate effect. Another card that does this is Despian Quaeritis. Its called a condition

And as the article says, they cant be negated. As its not an activated effect.

True Dracos will never be truly great without Masterpeace, but they're one of the best floodgate deck still, and the format has a shitload of floodgates.

I'd say they do alright, yeah. Not nearly as annoying as they used to be, but I've still managed to make some people very miserable with the deck, mostly by flipping Rivalry on an unsuspecting Branded Despia player.

Well, I have quite the amount of SR CP after that endeavor of 14k gems on Ancient Warriors pack (not done yet) so I /think/ I can make a True Draco.

I did say I wanted to make it back then (I think during that event where Dinomight was limited to 1) but seeing the amount of SR CP needed made me double back.

It helps with several floodgates being at 2 so I'd feel less bad playing it-

Sweet! Hope you like it! Mad OTK power and has handy bounces if you go first which can annoy those pesky "can't be destroyed" monsters. Also we're missing two more cards which helps the deck a bit

Dude nice. After 15k you were bound to hit it sometime! Seems like you built the deck and got an extra 20 CP. Cant use the 4th copy and are you realistically going to use Gagagas?

Actually, forgot to mention how even more of an amazing pull that is. Sometimes you'll be short of the OTK but now you can Xyz for cowboy to finish them off!

Yeah, I saw the deck in MDM and apparently Cowboy is used significantly often in it.

I probably wont mind playing it up to level 15, but Im not gonna stress about maxing it. Last time I burned out hard.

I just had one of those nerve-wracking Marincess duels where I ended my turn with like 3 seconds left on my timer. During my opponent's standby phase after that, I used Great Barrier Reef's effect to draw a card (I didn't care what I banished from my GY as the cost because it had to be quick), the card I drew was Maxx C, and I immediately shotgunned the Maxx C because I just didn't have time left to wait for the opponent to start making moves. Thankfully they scooped after the Maxx C resolved, because if they had played things out, I would have had to toggle off just to keep from losing to the timer and they probably would have broken my board with their Cyber Dragons.

I stopped at DLv15 on both my accounts during the previous Duelist Cup, and that's probably what I'll do this time. I might just only do it on my main account this time, since that account will likely be lower on gems after I pull for Labrynth/Runick stuff in the next selection pack.

I'm going to stop at DL 15 too.

But still going to do dailies on the cup to lengthen my gold rank stays as usual.

O no doubt its good just expensive to do it correctly. This was the first time I saw one that wasnt 60 cards too. It worked really well. Certainly a white whale of a deck that I want to play. Im being stubborn and keeping my Heroes for now.

Tbh, the first day was kinda horrible lol. Lots of tryhard decks and lost to Ash/Nibiru like thrice each.

Edit: So I got the deck list before things got wiped. Its a weird pile. I dont think it would get to diamond but its oddly cheap. And only will get cheaper now that Uni-zombie will come from the new starter deck. It had a weird mismatch of Extra deck too. Only thing that was used against me Avendread Savior as a pitch machine to get more fuel for King

So she's basically a better version of Pheonix/Cerberus. Nice.

Not sure she's a reliable "in" to the Striker engine since she needs 4 spells in the grave to not immediately kill herself. Some decks can pull it off no doubt, but I feel like a lot of the decks that *could* do that might have better things to be doing with the deck space. Maybe Witchcrafters? Endyimon? Exodia? Idk lol. Will certainly be interesting to see how it goes.

I feel like they're setting up for Sky Striker lore cards that aren't called Sky Strikers that can work with this.

Hornet Drones and a light based archetype can fully use her for removal, but then if she borks herself, then she's strictly worse than Phoenix. Also at that point, you'd rather use Twin Twisters or Cosmic Cyclone, which is also quick play.

I think Sky Striker package is no longer quite as powerful as it used to be. You have to be in an archetype that can dump 3 spells in the grave (Linkage makes the 4th). Stuff like Shark Cannon and Anchor has been a bit powercrept some time ago, though only on the basis that Ishizu stuff simply does more and also more stably. Anchor steal is still really powerful for a lot of reasons as it basically prevents conventional extension. But it also lacks a first turn interaction going second, which the Ishizu stuff can under the right match ups.

They're being too careful and unfocused with all the new Sky Striker stuff. This card is actually pretty easy to make on SS than you'd think, but it doesn't do anything on turn 1, which is basically the worst thing about playing SS in the modern days. Also there are far stronger midrange decks right now. I've playtested full power CB, and this card basically doesn't do anything to make SS stronger turn 1 nor turn 2~.

No it can't. Zeke has the same "Must be Link Summoned." condition as Azalea, and Linkage doesn't count as a Link summon.

She's basically Phoenix and Cerberus both in one and without the discard cost, and you don't need to hard draw her like you would a removal spell like those you mentioned. Plus she can also remove annoying "can't be targeted" monsters using her battle effect if you choose not to use her on-summon effect (or if you had 3 spells so she doesn't go to the GY).

Im getting kinda sick and tired of people just having the absolute nut draw on me every single game. Its kinda ridiculous that I have have good decks and get punished for playing anything. Having the ash, called by or something else at just the right time.

I just dont remember it being this cutthroat or maybe people got better while I was away. I know Im just bitching but its still annoying as hell to get fucked over by having 3 outs or even the card to fuck over my out 70% of the time.

Ironically I played through two ash a game after I posted that XD atleast its mostly faster than the Drytron meta from earlier this year.

Im close to platinum now so probably want to chill anyway until I get as deep into Duelist Cup as I want then rank up again.

Also what are peoples thoughts on Crossout Designator? I put it in decks and feel like it becomes a dead card a lot of the time. I know how good it is but not sure Im sold on it. Compared to a called by or an ash.

I just treat X-out as the 3rd CbtG for C and Ash and a common negate for things both me and my opponent might have.

Convincing me to invest in Ghost Belle was the best thing about the Link Festival. Branded is so much easier to deal with now that I have a potential out to BiR. Might even craft a third.

This. Ash and C are still too common for Crossout to be a bad card imo. Being able to snipe the occasional other staple or mirror is a nice bonus.

A player literally had 3 Maxx Cs resolved on me while playing a 60 cards deck. And then they also had Called by and Ash to stop me. I was so pissed by this as they were playing Swordsouls Tenyi. Then the next game was similar because they resolved to Maxx Cs and were also Swordsouls Tenyi, but I won this time and it felt better.

Branded Despia maybe a top tier deck but whenever I play with it, I lose badly because my opponent always have the out for it.

I kinda wanna make a Tax Dragon burn deck <__< Thinking regular branded despy but with 3 Ceasefire, maybe secret barrels? I haven't actually looked into a lot of burn cards recently so any ideas would be dope lol

Probably not *good* but Chain Energy is always a hilarious option. Oppoenent will have to pay 1100 life points to use anything in their hand, 1700 if you somehow open both Chain and double dragons.

I also like using Gravedigger's Trap Hole for a sweet 2000 damage AND gy/hand negate

I was gonna say Runicks are really good and gets splashed in a bunch of crazy stuff, pretty similar to Sky Strikers but also works with Sprights and all.

Dude Im right there with you on Branded. I get that its really good and why but holy hell does it feel like its heavily teched against. It makes things not fun. Im considering ramping it down and going back to Heroes which I actually have fun with and using my branded thunder dragons instead.

So many times I just get stuck with it. Its awesome when it worksbut it only works maybe 35% of the time and then its win more.

So in 60 packs, I pulled zero copies of Tour Guide. Hell, I didn't even pull any Labrynth URs, which was my "if I pull it, I'll keep it" kinda backup plan.

Can't be too mad though, because in those six 10-pulls I was lucky enough to grab like, 16 URs, so if I decide I really want Tour Guide it'll be easy. Now to start saving my gems again. Since all the cool Zombie support came in the structure, there aren't any big selection pack pulls I'm looking forward to until True Draco gets here, so that's nice.

The question, save UR dust and keep pulling from this pack? Or just save my gems to pull from whatever deck that uses Tour Guide? >_>

Also nabbed two copies of Ultimate Slayer. Seems good, might try it in Pendulums since they have such a diverse extra deck, and in Kairyushin since the extra deck is largely irrelevant and has the space for targets. And...is Titanocider just a strictly better Lost Wind?
