Does anyone know the Live Twin match up? Like what to Ash or hit? Ive run into it the most and Im just lost.

Im also thinking heavily that branded Despia isnt for me. Its just not fun. Also you can get your plays just stopped dead with nothing else to do cause Aluber takes your normal summon. Im going to melt down the extra things I dont need and focus back on Heroes with a side slice of Thundra Branded, which is actually fun.

Im at duelist level 8 and had some slobber knocker duels and some really annoying ones too. Freaking numeron players

Typically the 1st normal summon is what you ash.

You can D.D. crow the little Lila when they summon the big Kisikil but the deck has a TON of gas. If they have either the Li la treat or Ki sikil frost in hand they can still pop off.

Pretty similar to this but I am not using Veilers (I do have them though). Some other tech is that I found 2 Chimera to be overkill so I went back to 1 Starving venom and 1 Chimera. I also have Mercouirer in it. No Despia Comedy either. I also have Fairy Tail Snow in the deck as well. Only ever used her once and screwed myself over. And I only run 2 Patchwork so I dont dead draw the 3rd one as often. Trying to keep it to 40 or 41 cards as much as possible

Also thanks for the Live twin tips. I didnt realize they were so reliant on the normal summon. Its a deck Ive always wanted to make but its not cheap in terms of specific URs.

These were the top lists from a little bit ago. I tried to go find the match where I played against it but duelist cup doesnt let you see deck lists. He was using a normal rarity coin flip AW spell card that turns off responses from the opponent. It really worked well but maybe it was just a good run out

Man, I don't like Runick.

Yeah any of those AW lists that Toadally posted are great, tho I lean towards the second and third.

I was planning on building both Runick and Labrynth on my main account (since I had well over 12,000 gems on that one) but I had fantastic luck pulling Runick cards and terrible luck pulling Labrynth cards. I ended up making 4 different Runick decks (pure, Invoked, Spellbook, Sky Striker) to try out, and I also remade my Adventurer/DPE Sky Striker deck with the new addition of Illegal Knight. Then on my side account, I built a Labrynth deck, bought the new structure deck to build Zombie World Eldlich, and added 2 copies of Ultimate Slayer to my Dogmatika deck.

After all this, I have about 3,000 gems on my main account and 4,000 on my side account left. Time to start saving for Sprights and Tearlaments.

In other news, I got OTK'd by three copies of Crimson Nova the Dark Cubic Lord in my first DC duel.

Wutand I thought my luck was interesting. Ive never even seen Cubic. Who was the mad lad piloting that?

Then again I saw someone playing world chalice of all things in DC and I bricked. That one hurt.

Im also more than likely refocusing on Heroes still anyway. Yeah they can lose to certain things but that pretty much any deck. I can atleast play through some disruption and actually bait things out with Heroes. Branded Despia is kinda linear. Its the same reason I dislike playing Swordsoul.

Putting Dragunity stuff (which is 16 or 17 cards) bumps my deck to above 45+ that it makes me uncomfortable.

But then I saw Runick banishing my everything and I'm like 'maybe 45+ isn't that bad'.

Uhh wow I lucked out with Runicks big time actually. Spent 4000 gems, got 2 of the 3* and the 2 spells, got 0, 3, 1, 2 of the SR spells, obviously maxed out on everything else.

Somebody please stop me.

How long do people be taking when playing?

I'm starting to understand why some Labrynth lists run Heavenly Prison; I played six games with it today in Ranked and had my backrow wiped out immediately in five of them - three Dusters and two Evenly Matched. I mean, yeah, the LotHP wouldn't have helped on those, but it's still frustrating how often that happened.

Rarely you'll run into stall bots. Or salty motherfuckers that think they can get you to quit when they're losing by stalling the clock out on their turn.

Depends on the deck and the board state.

If I'm playing Pendulums, which are pretty combo heavy, the first turn, and turns where I'm trying to play over an opponent's established board can go for about 2 and a half minutes, maybe even 3 if I'm forced to make certain combo routes or think I can pull off an OTK.

If I'm playing Tri-Brigade, Sword Soul, etc, which have largely linear combo lines, turns can be as short as 30 seconds.

If I'm playing something goofy like stun or burn, my turn lasts as long as it takes for me to normal summon a monster and set four cards. <_<

The current best deck (in Master Duel) is BrandedDespia, which can make pretty long turns but is generally done their opening play in less than a minute, since they're essentially just doing one fusion combo and setting up their graveyard.

I haven't actually done it in many years at this point, except for one fucker who refused to let me suicide my monster and just end the game. Decided to say fuck it, you want the game to last longer, the game is going to last longer <_<

At the very least, I can do my dailies on the Kaiba Cup. It's free gems so I won't complain too much. The duels I had were pretty bland though. Ran into a Despia who got the perfect hand and every extender in the deck, which was nice, and then had Super Poly for my own turn

I got shenanigans'd. Guy used Soul of the Supreme King to summon ZARC, then used Book of Moon to flip it face down so it's on-summon board wipe wouldn't be negated. I'm an idiot since I had Judgment set and could've stopped it. Live and learn. >_>

Put both my copies of Ultimate Slayer into Umi, drew both of them going second. Nice. Shut the fuck up, Naturia Exterio.

I'll have to watch this. I can tolerate their fake enthusiasm but my pet peeve is that they pull off these combos by bullying shit decks like Dark Magician. Seeing the combos are cool but not as exciting when they may as well be playing against a starter deck ai.

The opponent used Maxx C and maybe didn't run any other hand trap, but I'd like to believe they let Sam combo off just to see exactly what kinda bullshit he was up to lol

I think a replay format would be better for these types of vids though. Not a fan of when they spend too much time winging it.

I finally had some games where it shook out my way. Kinda confirmed I want to play Heroes. I fucking hate Runicks with a new found passion. People thought Eldlich was bad? They are just the most annoying people to play against too. Im putting in a copy of feather duster in every deck now just to save my ass.

Im at Duelist level 9 but I feel like that one Ben Affleck smoking pic since Ive gotten here. I watch a fair amount of videos and I swear my MMR is in some weird upper bracket. I rarely play against anyone that isnt a super seasoned vet. Its just crazy.

I did rank up to Platinum though. Maybe thats what did it. Every duel is a shadow game knife fight to the death. I won one duel having 400 life points left cause they thought this weird burn deck had the gas to go up against a real deck. That was dicey

Holy fuck... I just realized Runick makes Unicore control a viable deck now. By Unicore, I mean the shitty Fabled Unicore. It is the biggest memeiest control deck in existence, but if you're good, this is the best control deck in the game, that negates everything ever as long as you have the same hand size

Does anyone have anti-ruinmick/labyrinth decks? I have never hated an Archtype more than this shit. I want to make a deck that shuts them down hard. Its kinda like that MJ meme with me at this point. I took this shit personally.

Do Thunder Dragons or Necroface count as anti-Runick decks? >_>

My experience with Labyrinth has been surprisingly tame so far. Runick is a pain in the ass if I dont open Ogre for their field spell, but Labyrinth feels like just another normal trap control deck.

Somebody also posted Trap Eater, which is funny. But if you also want to go kinda nutty, you can run Closed Forest to stop the Runick field

Also if you wait til Runick recycles the 3 quick spells and use Ash on that effect, you're golden. I believe that basically just kills their flow entirely.

Runick definitely can't be brute forced though. They have a lot of ways to stop you and will slowly drain your deck.

They can flood gate you badly enough that even if they dont play anything you can deck out. I had that issue :(

I had that last night.

But I also made a misplay that made me miss the lethal by 900 HP. By that time I only had 6 cards left on the deck.

I guess I'm going 50 cards. Screw this.

Labrynth is pretty easy to play around. They don't have a lot of gas right now and most decks can out-resource them. Ash the welcome and they go into scoop phase.

Fairly certain Runick cards can't activate their interruptions under IIW, but they should still be able to activate the summoning effect. "Then" is not an optional conjunction, and you can't activate a card unless you can do all mandatory effects. Just pray they don't chain the backrow pop and kill your floodgate before it resolves. >_>

Can summon her with Bloom. Her effect Foolish's Mad Mauler. Mauler's effect summons himself and synchros with her into the new level 6. From there, there's a bunch of fun things you can do. You use the 6's effect to foolish Gozuki, you can banish the girl to summon a zombie from your hand, and the girl banishes a zombie in your grave to summon herself back, (and if the card you banished to do that was the new Zera card, he summons himself too)

Just crazy stuff. >_>

When they passed back to me, I summoned some more stuff, they activated Maxx C, and both cards they drew with Maxx C were spells and exploded due to the virus too. After that they scooped. It was hilarious.

I haven't tried out my Runick decks on my main account yet, nor have I faced any as an opponent yet, but I can tell from the online chatter that people already hate them quite a bit. I'll probably play around with those this weekend.

Jokes aside that must have been a good feeling after Branded Despia has terrorized the meta for so long.

Predaplants seem really fun. There is a lot of flexibility in them and there is also a Branded version that can make even more crazy plays. There is a Predaplant card that can search for Super Poly. So you can really set yourself up. The many thing is getting hand traps to stop things like Mirrorjade or branded in red.

Fluffals are a surprisingly competent deck in the Duelist Cup. Either that or I'm just shit (likely). Edge Imp Scythe acting as a handtrap fusion spell is pretty neat.

I did run into a few Predaplant players too. Even with Branded I kind of like the diversity of the Duelist Cup. Almost makes me feel guilty for just spamming Swordsoul so I can get the event overwith. <_<

Made it to level 16, probably won't try to climb any higher so long as I can complete my missions. Didn't expect those free pack tickets to give me anything, but I am disappointed I didn't pull the Barrel Dragon retrain. The dark machine deck from the old SP solo gate seemed fun.

I'm having too much fun trying to play Branded Burn in the DC. Half of the fun is trying to find lines to at least two tax dragons without killing my resources too much.

At the rate I am going, it's likely I will get 1 rank up per day.

Getting wins are hard. I met a Floo while bricking that banished my Jet Dragon, my sole hope to survive the 1st turn.

Then Runick, then a floodgate, etc.
