Didn't I mention this earlier? Yeah, post #135. But my theory is that scum doesn't have a proper RB anyway, so even if they did, they wasted it on a vanillager instead of using it on the claimed cop in an attempt to undermine HB's credibility. It's not working. It's not even fooling me.

But yeah, I think there's no proper RB, but that's just what my logic is telling me. Part of my point that I may not have articulated well - my language is more confused than my head is, because I'm not particularly good at articulating my thoughts about people on the fly like this (I usually take a long time to go over things for this reason) - is that I don't know why scum would target anyone OTHER than HB with a proper roleblock. They probably also don't have a proper power to redirect him, just a power to redirect based on targets. So they had to pick who they thought he'd target and chose Kirby for whatever reason when that makes zero sense, since Kirby's not on anyone's radar. Again, cops should scan someone who people have different reads on or uncertainties about. Ben was more so the latter.

Hmm what would prevent Hb from being blocked though? I cannot think of a role that does that, unless town also has a roleblocker who blocked the roleblocker but that just seems super unlikely

Lopen and Ben did some good, convincing distancing on page 1 of topic 1. This on page 2, with how linked the three are now, is pretty funny.

Let's also consider the following:

1. Poppy had this read on ctes early day 1
2. Poppy did not speak up about it (or anything else, really) on day 2
3. Poppy was content to go with the flow on day 2, to the point where he was vote 4 of 7 on ctes. Not much pushback to anything at all, and helped distract me and Kirby from Ben!

I keep forgetting Poppy is in this game geez. This is really not a good look for him.

I see Lopen putting his vote down already. Scum trying to profit off killing their own, eh?

I remember thinking Chang was acting scummy D1, but he's really come around since then. His posts have been thoughtful and analytical about everyone's actions. He hasn't really been assertive in his reads, but I don't think Chang is usually like that anyway. I recall now that he completely backpedaled from Corrik that one time, but otherwise, his posts seem coherent and consistent.

People say conspiracy theorist Lopen is Town Lopen, but I don't recall him lying so much or being this insistent on crazy scenarios/theories. Strikes me more as Scum Lopen trying to fake act like Town Lopen. Was also vehemently defensive of Ben for absolutely no reason and is only now backing off because of the guilty scan, which he initially tried to spin as a scum gambit.

7. PeaceFrog - Towniest Town
I don't think much needs to be said here. Has been vocal and analytical, but not in a manipulative way. Peaf is always presenting new arguments and putting forth his reads in a way that makes sense and isn't just picking on minor details.

8. Poppy - Scum?
I recall Poppy's spat with Corrik. Did not look good back then, and in retrospect, his initial vote on Sbell looks a lot worse. I gave him a pass on D2, but I'm uneasy about the fact that he's still very silent. 24 hours haven't passed since the start of the day, but there's something concerning about posting only the bare minimum and skating by.

9. Sultan - Town?
I don't think Sultan has done much this game. Concerning, but Sultan gave me a strong impression of being town on D1. He hasn't done anything particularly scummy since then; he's just made some posts that are little "are you really thinking about this bro" but I'm not too worried about Sultan yet.

10. ViolentAbacus - Town?
More active than Poppy for sure. Godfather is a perfectly valid possibility, but I think I'll give Abacus the benefit of the doubt here regarding Hb's scan.

So it comes down to Ben/Lopen/probably Poppy and then I have no clue on the fourth. Argh. In due time, in due time...

The obvious play if hb is town is to do this

Kill abacus tonight

The simplest tactics win this game when scum is up this much if hb is town. It's only if he's not town do more advanced moves need to be used. Cop should not be allowed to live-- cop scanning and exposing Ben is like the least damaging outcome there because Ben as scum makes a lot more sense if ctes and sbell are both town and is probably lynched today with or without a scum scan on him.

Further the only way scum finds it plausible to lynch town hb is if I am not scum. Look at the reactions to hb's claim yesterday and you'll find me as the only doubter. Everyone else was like "hyuk uncountered cop yup yup"

Poppy doesn't want to say another word because it'll just implicate his team more. I posted a two part thesis on him yesterday from the corrik and red interactions.
I'd love for him to claim today just so that he has less time to put together a fake, but since ben is dead to rights i understand that there's not going to be any pressure for him.
