isn't it SUPER weird that Ben didn't have something better prepared than that claim though. That's the one thing I can't get past here. no planned bus driver claim to speak up and save him....nothing at all.

Theorizing that Sultan was day cop was just me throwing stuff into the air. I didn't even remotely believe that, and still don't. Sultan couldn't have scanned me scum D1 because I am town, and D1 was before any Pots of Greed were in play. He's relentless on me because he's pretending.

This is a slip since "we can probably win the game" with the "we" referring to the scum team. Simply because I am town, and I know this.

And i think Chang slipped here that the bus driver is scum. He is also pushing "my botched claim" very hard, and seems to be taking pleasure in it. Chang is very obviously scum and probably their redirector/bus driver.

HB/Chang/BCT/Peaf is the vibe I get today. BCT because he seems like he's trying to ignore me altogether because he doesnt want to be on the same person all his buddies are on and they have to have someone on the back lines in case i survive today. So he says he wants to lynch somebody not in HB or me. And Peaf i could easily replace with Abacus if Abacus is godfather, but otherwise I'd have him as scum through POE. Sultan and BCT never scum together.

I have no idea, which is why I am assuming they redirected my action to Kirby. Because Kirby was not visited. And we didnt hear from anyone night 1. So they redirected a vanilla night 1

This would also explain why no roleblocks have been claimed. This could be their roleblocker, but instead of blocking it sends the targets ability to the target of their choosing. They redirected me in case I was power so that I couldnt confirm myself town somehow and they could make sure I'm lynched today. Maybe they thought I was bodyguard or something

When I say bus driver it means the same thing. The bus driver grabs me, puts me in a bus, and drops me off where he wants me. That's how I've always interpreted bus driver and it's how I have them in my games. I'm only saying redirector now because everyone sounds confused because they think bus driver means something different from me.

Only one power role has given us a full claim so far. That he was not rb'd n1 is suspicious, sure. But no other power role is going to out themselves over having been blocked, at this point in time.

So just like to tie up loose ends in case we actually do have a watcher or a tracker or something

I did target Han last night with a pot of greed to test if he was lying about having a crossout designator-- I had to be absolutely sure he was town going forward. I was told it failed and I was told "will be obvious when topic posts" and I'm not sure if his trap explicitly disappeared due to me targeting him or him dying but it's something to think about when more bodies drop.

This is why I was 90% sure Ben was lying before realizing watcher didn't even make sense with a bus driver (and why I wanted a bus to fully explain their abilities before doing so)

It's no longer a Trump card I feel matters and Ben is clearly lying at this point. And he's so clearly that there's no chance a scum would claim bus to back him up.

I have another problem in regards to HB that is very tinfoil hatty. Even though I do think their town, there is this possibility:

Scum was doing a set up. HB pretends to be cop, and sets up a "scan" on someone and confirms someone town because they know who is and isn't. Opens up the possibility to later say "I scanned this person, they're scum" and then we lynch and are basically arsed if we do think there are 4 scum.

I don't think it's a very likely scenario at all, but still wanted to mention the possibility

This was my and lopen's leading theory through most of day 2. Again, not crackpot, and people who say that lopen doesn't make sense are just bad at using their brain.

I also still think hb is lying and this was an intentional gambit by him and Ben to make us believe hb's next scan (or Ben's but he made a terrible botch) and lose when he "finds scum" again

But I also think no cops in the setup seems unlikely and it will be implausible for hb to keep the ruse up when a real cop dies. In any case, the reason I mention this is so we don't just auto accept his scan tomorrow if he finds scum again.

Btw hb if you're town do not scan BCT. He is clearly scum. Resolve ambiguous targets. That is how we win this game.

I meant for the night kill, not the redirect. Sorry I didn't clarify. A bus driver swaps actions, yes? If scum tried to night kill Kirby and then got swapped to Han, it makes no sense. Whereas a Watcher/Tracker visiting Han would absolutely be redirected - but it depends on which type of redirect it was. Was it the "all actions on Han are now performed on Kirby" type, in which case Kirby would probably be killed too unless scum has something to prevent that? Or was it the "Ben was redirected since scum somehow knew he was Tracker" type?

...either way, yeah, Benji is even scummier now that I've thought about it.
