Attention Duelists! You have been selected for the latest event, here and now in this world of dueling! We have created a new elite class of rank for you that have grown numb to the challenges of Diamond rank.
We call it God Rank! And only you have a chance at this peak of dueling glory. The sixteen of you will be pit against each other in a classic bracket of one on one combat! Only those still standing at the end may claim the divine title!
What is that you ask? What happened to matches? Two out of three? Why this is MASTER DUEL! We do not hand out second chances here! Your first fight is your only fight, you current deck is your only deck!
But are there rules? Why of course! We are not savages! The same rules as usual will apply here! For starters, the banlist will be the same as the main one that's been in place since September and furthermore..

Oh. We already have one of our first defeats! That is most unprecedented! It would seem he faced a deck of immense power, power that should have been limited outright banned! Someone hacked into the system!
Most unfortunate, we have not even begun yet and the rules are already being twisted upside down! Not to mention that this throws a wrench in our elegant setup. Can't very well have a bracket with uneven numbers, that just wont do!
Hrm, but this can be salvaged! The lot of you can solve this problem for us, you can find the rulebreakers by dueling them! Yes, that is the way! This event has now become a battle royal! A free for all!
You should not complain, this is still a a great oppurtunity for you. The rewards will be immense, especially for those that catch the hackers! We may have to throw some of our own rules out to face this threat, but I have faith in you!

Besides some of the standard rules for this event will remain at least... we would not want to fix this issue with violence now would we?

1. Days will start and end at 7 PM, lasting 48 hours. Though day1 will be 2 hours longer than usual. They can also end through early lynches of course.
2. Lynches are decided the same way as usual. Tiebreakers will also be resolved through the good ol' sudden death rules. I feel I need so specify that these days.
3. Voting and unvoting will use the standard template of ##Vote: Death. You can also vote yourself, but do not abuse this feature as you still have to play to win.
4a. You may claim your flavors name and role. You may NOT paraphrase the rest of the flavor. This is more for the sake of those that have no knowledge of the flavor at all.
Though everyone can still meta the flavor with all the risks that entails. Please keep this in mind.
4b. Each players flavor is a deck of card, just like how each duelist has their own strategy. The two factions are simply TOWN/SCUM but the actual flavor split is between the decks that use banned cards and those that do not.
5. If you have questions that need to be answered during the game, you may PM me or Plum and Ulti. Only paraphrase the answers given and do not repost or quote any other parts of the host communications.
I will not always be around, but me and the hosts will try to answer as quickly as possible. Also forgive me if we make any mistakes during votal updates and feel free to point them out.
6. Be present. If you do not show up at all, you will be replaced!
7. And most of all, be nice! And have fun!

Then these are the rules for the Shop, because any old gacha game as an Item shop of course and you will want to spend those hard earned gems somehow! And whether you are scum or not, you still get to be an earner!
1. At the end of each day each Duelist (that is you the player) will get 100 gems for simply logging in and posting. If for some reason you do not post during the day, you get no gems at all!
2. If a vote of yours was on the final lynch at the end of the day, then you gain 50 extra gems in addition to the standard 100. We call that the inflicted damage-bonus.
3. If you kill scum, you also gain 50 extra gems. This applies to lynches or other actions. This would be the 'congratulations you won a duel' bonus.
4. Gems can be spent during the night at the Card shop as a free action. They cannot be bought during the day. The card will stay in your inventory until used.
You can at any point convert your card back into Gems, but you will only get half of what you paid back.
5. The contents of the shop will be revealed at the start of Night1, the list of cards will also change the further the game progresses to maintain balance.
Cards will be banned at the same time. If you should still possess a card that has become forbidden, you can convert it back into the same amount of gems it was originally worth.
6. Cards come in different categories of spells or traps and can resolve in different ways, some will resolve at the same time as other actions at the end of the same night you bought them,
others will linger as effects during the next day. But they are all one-use. More details to come when the Cards are revealed.

Man I was hoping that 5pm est was permanent so I could for certain be around for ends of days. At least that one extra hour compared to the previous games helps a lot.

Looked like a post made for the sake of making a post. Which sure is what gets the game going, but it doesn't even make sense to me. Why do you recognize someone has been joking recently but then think it's horrible to do in the first post if not to act like making contact?

I did answer.

It's different than his hesitation in your game yes but he was also scum that game and it was his first game in a while. I don't recall he hesitated to post much in what little Baseball mafia he played.
