If a detail is in the first minutes of a first episode, that's generally considered a "premise", not a "spoiler".

He's not wrong. And it's not just this community.

People make no effort to try and avoid spoilers after a certain point. I try to at least mark stuff when someone gives a heads up or for the first few posts, but once it becomes apparent I'm balls deep in some spoiler riddled stuff I kind of just expect people to get the idea not to read my posts, especially on Reddit where you can just choose to not go deep on some conversations past a certain point.

Oh, believe me, Ive learned my lesson about flying too close to the sun as far as spoilers are concerned when I shared a meme of Joel from TLoU looking mildly concerned while a thought bubble above his head communicates to the audience about his concern about any of the men hes killed possibly having some muscled-up daughters to avenge them.

This was about a day or so before the release of the controversial sequel where folks had been sharing all sorts of ridiculous Abby memes and had mostly gotten away with it, yet the seemingly milquetoast inner monologue that Joel was having in the meme I shared got me warned for a week, hence I dont fuck around when it comes to spoiler territory any more.
