Holy crap that second thing looks awesome! It also kind of looks like a Digimon but I'm not complaining...

On the website they mention that you can have a Pokmon follow you outside of its Poke Ball and also that you can send them off on their own to find items and do Auto Battles by themselves

So many Fire/Ghosts. I really thought at least the armor one would've been Fire/Steel, but Fire/Psychic is still somewhat interesting.

Klawf is cool.

It would've been so much more interesting if the gym leaders took a Pokemon of their preferred type and terastalized them into some other type.

The crab is also a Mega Man enemy but I'm not complaining.

hadn't seen the new Wooper's abilities yet. water absorb with a poison/ground typing is nice.

Rewatching the trailer after looking at the website, it looks like the Team Star base raids use the auto-battle feature. Looks like you send out multiple Pokemon and they run around beating up the Team Star grunts' Pokemon.

He was, but the general reaction to Team Skull in general that they were a breath of fresh air compared to teams like Aqua/Magma and Flare with overly complicated world-threatening plots.

She is the most "not a Pokemon character" design ever imo

This game looks like ass, lmao. I can't stop looking at the copy-pasted NPCs doing the same animation during battles, it looks so stupid. They tried to be hype with the music and editing, but those visuals just aren't giving.

I love the crab. Twitter losing its mind over the Mega Man knock-offs is not very surprising.

Armarouge and Ceruledge aren't Pokemon. Someone on here I think said it best; when you think of the Gen I fully evolved starters, they're just monsters, beasts that have grown and evolved through a journey. Recently, the starters (Cinderace especially has this) and other Pokemon like these two have just resembled cartoons too much, like mascots for some kids show that's about saving the world or something. Don't like them at all.

I thought they were alternate Bisharps when I first saw them, to be honest. I dont think they look that much more not Pokmon than it did, personally.

A lot of people also thought they were alternate Gallades.

But yeah, I don't see how they're any less Pokemon than other heavily human-like Pokemon like Bisharp or Scizor or Hitmonchan.

The "not Pokemon" thing has never been a criticism I had much time for

Hey maybe the popularity of these designs will somehow lead to Battle Network revival.

Everything else about Mela is cool but the boots single handily make it the single worst design ever in any piece of fiction.
