for real I think its just because they look so much like Mega Man characters. its not just about body shape, its the whole design.

I dont think Ive ever had such a hey that thing looks like it should be from a different thing reaction to a Pokmon design before. if I had just seen the Ceruledge art without context, my first reaction would have been are they making a new Battle Network game?
