i think currently my mood is... Argon>UnkPol>Jupiter> Hollows>Chase >Frypan and there isn't really a very significant gap between any of them...

5 songs I enjoy, and the chase. Which is also fine. I'm just not drawn to it.

The mix in Unknown Pollution is so bad, it nearly nullifies any of the positives about the song for me. It just sounds like a cacophony to me. I can barely hear the e-guitar at the drop, which is probably intended to be the coolest part of this, but yeah, I can't appreciate it. Heretic Frypan is still pretty cool, particularly in the soundscape and chords used. Easy vote for it this time.

THE CHASE, on the other hand, has an incredible mix. All the details are so crisp, clean, and at a good volume. It helps that the composition is so intricate and pleasant to listen to as well. Argon Refinery going against it makes this a bit of a painful match, because that one has really grown on me. But it's still a pretty clear vote for THE CHASE for me. I wouldn't be too sad if Argon moves on, though (as long as it goes on to retire).

Hollows (Echocave) is fun as always. Super catchy song. Jupiter Guns Novel is a bit too busy for my tastes, but it's got some really good bits, like 2:35. Pretty easy vote for Hollows here.

I'd say this was a very good day except for Unknown Pollution.

A high quality day! I like 5 of the 6 here quite a lot, and the other (Jupiter) is still p good. The winners are all clear to me though, hopefully there's a retiree among us today.
