Right on, I'll see Thor soon. I got 2 nephews real into Marvel stuff and I like it too, so we watch a lot of it when they are here.

Despite drinking 17 drinks last night, I'm killing it at work today. Just unloaded over a hundred bags out of a van, that shit takes it out of me even on the best day.

I'm pounding water though, it might be the first day in weeks that I've drank a full 1.5 litre bottle of water at work.

So there's this southern lady that i've been likin and i've kinda flirted here and ther with her but I never wanted to ask out some while they're at work. We've had a really good fun relationship when I come in and we got to know each other a little.

Long story shortof I walk in yesterday and I really just needed toothpaste, she wasn't at at the counter and I didn't even know if she was there. I turned the corner and there she is. We see each other and she runs up and says "mahlasdaystha14th" This went on for two more times and I said "Mothers day is on the 14th?" She tells me how she's leavin the company and we're talking for like 20 minutes. She tells me how she's pissed because they hired a manager outside and she shook their hand and as she said that she reached out her hand and made me shake her hand like I didn't know how to shake hands. She never let go and just held my hand the whole time of the story looking me right in the eyes and i'm smiling because I don't know what the fuck she's exactly getting at yet.

Then she says we'll still see each other and wanted me to give her my number. I think she's waiting until she's done because she knows i'll be in there at least once before she's done but ....fuck that was a day changer.

Nah, bags of dirty linen. I work at an industrial laundry. You've gotta do a bit of everything down there, but my main bag is handling the washers and dryers (loading and unloading) and unloading the delivery vans when they get back.

100+ bags isn't the norm necessarily. They're like 10-50kg each too, but today I had someone else taking them from the van to the stacking area. It's still hard yakka dragging them from the back of the van to the front.

You do gotta do a little bit of everything at an industrial laundromat, bag handling, meth cooking, gotta off a guy every now and then.

Mallard is probably ripped as hell from his job.

Also damn, it took me five hours but I read your post about the northern lady. Way to go dude, I hope you guys hit it off outside of the supermarket environment.

I appreciate you saying that, but I'm definitely not lol. I get like $30 lunches every day and generally don't take the best care of myself, and I drink like a fish so there's a lot of belly fat that probably won't go away for a long time.

My calves are rock hard though.

Even though I drink like a fish, I try to be somewhat health minded in other aspects of my life. Recently I've only been drinking straight vodka cause of the high ABV and it's a really clean, low calorie way to get drunk. Gin and tequila are the same way. I think a shot of 90 proof vodka is ~110 calories which is really low on the spectrum. Course I don't drink it by the shot. >_> It also sucks that alcohol will interfere with the fat burning process which makes it even more important to work on some small improvements here and there to make up for some of that if we want to keep drinking and somewhat stay healthy.

I've also gotten better at portion control which makes me eat less. I also try to not give into any terrible food cravings I get while drunk. I'll try to have some meals prepped and ready to pop in the microwave before drinking that day. I know I'll lean into those rather than cook something terrible for myself while drinking.

To piggyback on my previous comment. I wrapped up my work for today an hour ago so I decided to partake in some vodka. Already got some chili garlic tofu and jamaican sauteed cabbage in the fridge to dig into whenever I get the food cravings.

Also @Johnny_Nutcase I watched B&B Do the Universe. It was a fun time but not nearly as funny as Do America. The "We kicked the science fair's ass" was probably the best joke.

Im so pissed off right now. My asshole raging alcoholic "friend" shows up last night at like 2am. Not at my door because he knows I wont let him in. He shows up at my WINDOW. I got fuckin PISSED. I remember being in 5th grade and my friend spending the night. We planned to wake up early to play video games the next day. He woke up from the alarm first and tried to wake me up. Apparently I rolled over, said leave me alone, and punched him in the jaw.

There's a reason my wife is the only friend I regularly hang out with. My best friend is over 3 hours away.
