Finally started the new God of War yesterday. Not sure how I feel about it so far. Combat seems clunkier and slower than previous installments, and slower paced altogether.

It ended up being my favorite game of the 2010s. It felt like a mix of Zelda, Skyrim, Dark Souls and old God of War. Perfect mix of combat, story and exploration. It took several hours to start feeling that way, once it reached a more open area with side quests.

I played it a couple years ago and loved it. Really looking forward to Ragnorok.

Although I haven't played any of the previous GoW games, so I can't compare it to them.

Ya lol I just got it 'free' last month and just finished Control so moving over to GOW. I'll stick with it, I think I got about half way through Darksiders 2 before I put it down, I'm only a couple hours into GOW.

Yeah I know how much I need. I drink whiskey now but still I can eyeball the bottle and decide if it's enough or not. Though considering the variable of how fast I drink it I make sure to have more than I need. I buy two bottles at a time. Try to keep atleast most of one bottle on hand. I'm buying a new bottle shortly after the first one is gone. I do it that way cause sometimes I only have Sunday off and ABC store is closed. So I keep a backup

It's not hard you just gotta plan ahead.

Back when I drank 4 lokos I'd always buy a 2 day supply. Once in a blue moon I'd dip into the second day supply which is why I did it.

I saw a guy make 60 bucks one night cause people didn't plan properly for a party. Someone asked him to do a beer run for them. He said since he had already been drinking himself he was gonna charge a 20 dollar fee. 2 others ended up asking him that night. Thank God the closest store was literally just a 2 minute drive on a very straight road.

I can walk a straight line qnd talk without slurring after drinking two. 3 is when I start to stumble ocassionally.

I didn't guzzle the things. I chugged down 2 plus a beer once then drank a third one normally. That didn't end well

Guy said he'd buy me another if I chugged the two plus a beer. I did it in under 30 seconds I believe.

I'd much rather buy a bottle of vodka and then juice, iced tea, lemonade etc. from the grocery store and make my own drinks.

My own drinks taste way better, are cheaper and stronger too.

4 loko is hit and miss on their flavors. Some are really good some are fucking awful. And it varies by person. Gold has held strong for a long time though I see it in most gas stations I go to and have for years while most other flavors only hang around inna store for a little while before being replaced.

People say gold tastes like red bull. Never had red bull so I can't confirm. But it's Allright. My favorite was red which was cherry flavored. Odd cause I typically dislike cherry

The Green Apple one is tolerable. I stay away from them cause it's 655 calories a can

Either way, I've seen people go through withdrawal for heroin before. It's not fun. It seems like it's even worse than alcohol withdrawal even though alcohol withdrawal is more dangerous.

As far as I know, alcohol and benzo withdrawal are the only ones that can be actually fatal. Other withdrawal might make you want to die though.

Speaking of similar activities, my gf and I just had some gummies. She has almost no experience with this. Not that I have much. We are gonna watch the original What We Do in the Shadows movie. Never saw it.

Careful how you eat. Eating after you take it will activate it pretty much all at once

And I wish I was on methadone. Sadly my state has no such place for it. I'm on buprenorphine

Nah it's not that bad. Guy got stabbed 17 times on my first day though. I've seen two people personally get beat so bad their lip was split all thr way to their nose. Second one had bleeding on the brain as well. He bought that ticket though. He attempted to rape the guy I heard. Didn't see it but two guys got beat so bad their eye sockets got crushed. I was at work just didn't see it.

Fights happen often enough but are typically what you'd expect in a normal fight.

There are a lot of shanks though. I've found like 20 in the past two months. It's a gangbanger camp so it's mostly for self defense.

There was one other guy shanked since I started working. Dude was shanked in his sleep. Got up shoved the attacker to the side ran to another section of the dorm and beat a guys ass. I can only assume he thought a hit had been put on him and put higher priority on beating up who he assumed placed the hit. He admitted he was gonna attack his attacker also he just was gonna with till they had been put in handcuffs (the weapon would be removed from the scenario at this point) but he got cuffed first

Damn that's wild, not sure i'd be able to do that kind of job even though I was a military guy

Most military guys out here are pretty lazy. That said some of the strongest officers we've had have been military.

I wanted to be military. I'm the first male (well generation my brother didnt either) in my family for several hundred years to not join. I was begged not to by my family cause the war on terror. So this job fulfills my sense of duty I suppose.

Yeah I did 4 in the Army in 01 to 05, definitely not in the same shape anymore. I have a long family history of servicemen, it wasn't really a pride thing, the GI bill was nice.

It was a logistics company, so a lot of our older guys were fat and lazy truck drivers.
