It hurts losing to a loaner deck, though, because they draw multiple outs and the only thing you have on board is Borreload Savage Dragon. Also saw somewhat actually played Limit 1 Synchron, Junk Speeder into quite a board....but then their connection failed. --- Girls' Frontline / Princess Connect - Re:Dive / Echoes of Mana / Yu-Gi-Oh! I actually had a stretch yesterday where I lost 9 out of 10 duels, and the only one I didn't win ended with my opponent forcing a draw. In case you aren't aware, if a duel ends in a draw during an event like this, both players get 50 points as if both of them had lost. So my opponent actively went out of their way to screw me out of 450 event points while gaining absolutely no benefit themselves. I finally got to 11,000 points on my main account today, and it's been so frustrating that I'm honestly considering just not bothering with it on my side account. I've decided to try and build a Melodious deck for funsies, though I'm trying to find some stuff to compliment it. Sadly, because it's a very xenophobic archetype (all of its Fusion monsters require Melodious monsters), mixing in Despias and Darklords won't work - none of the Fusions are level 8 for the former, and they're all LIGHT attribute for the latter while Darklords require DARK. Still, maybe I can make it worth as some kind of control deck; things for me to figure out. --- "No thanks. I dunno why I keep drawing her (and not even drawing the other Eccelsia search target to boot O_o), and why whenever I draw her, I have nothing to bait or counter the Ash with. Then one of the enemy manages to stop Raye but sacrificing itself. Then~~ ~~TWO YEARS LATER,~~ ~~Raye is seen to have taken over 70% of the city occupied by the enemies and it was her~~ ~~15th birthday~~ but she herself didn't care to remember because she was in complete depression over Ciela. She meets Aileron who reminds her of her birthday and shows Pylon who is fine physically but has no memory of anyone including Raye so basically. So Raye became a girl who "never smiled again". Can't speak for Red-Eyes specifically, but I've rarely been in a duel where I wasn't able to banish 6 cards that weren't gonna help me that time. I'm 7-3 with it so far, and it's making me really want to build a full-on Dragonmaid deck even more, but I know I'm going to wait until the datamined Dragonmaid structure deck comes out. The most hilarious win I got was in my last duel of the night against some kind of Cyberse deck. I took my opponent down to 400 LP thanks to a Super-Poly'd Sheou in the middle of the battle phase, then I shotgunned Maxx C on their turn and they played into Maxx C by doing a bunch of special/Link summons, mostly with @Ignister cards. I was scared they were going to make the big Link 6 unaffected by card effects @Ignister guy (who I'm pretty sure I had no way to take out) but instead they ended on an Accesscode Talker with 5300 ATK that could clear my field and attack twice to kill me. Fortunately, I drew Infinite Impermanence among the Maxx C draws, negated Accesscode's effect with it after it cleared my field, survived the two hits from its original 2300 ATK, then my opponent died from self-damage from one of the @Ignister spells that they played during their big combo.
