That's crazy. I was just reading about super sentai earlier this week to try and understand how america's mighty morphin series fit with Japan's. I was shocked to learn that the footage from mighty morphin was actually season 16 of the Japanese series.
How about the fact that there are modern seasons like ToQger and Kyuranger that PR never bother try to adapt properly?
(actually, Gokaiger which is an older series right before GoBusters is never adapted properly either despite being such a high rated series in Japan)

mmpr might be considered the most popular series, but that's solely due to nostalgia and their marketing pushes.
lost galaxy and in space were both far more popular than mmpr way back when, averaging over 2x more views
Oh, interesting that Lost Galaxy and In Space actually have more viewers, that's news to me
