For limit 1, I built a pretty hodge podge Sky Striker, Dogmatika and Albaz, Artifact, Windwitch, and random self sufficient boss mons type of deck. Windwitch can get into Crystal Wing with destruction prevention, Sky Striker can obvs do decent SS things

I have a lot of going 2nd cards now that I think about it, but I do wish I owned a crossout designator and Dark Ruler No More, but I'm low on crafting points

For limit one I took my Invoked/Shadoll/Dogmatika deck and just mixed it with Danger/Chaos. Playing with the less powerful dogmatika monsters for lights because I don't have lightsworn or care enough to get them. Testing it I can get a good number of monsters out but I feel like removal is going to be rough.

Oh yeah I just tried it, but the CPU never got to the Vendread stuff. Looking at their deck, it's pretty inconsistent. But yeah Shiranui in general is that you dump the lvl 2 tuner into the grave with a few fodders ASAP, and he kinda becomes your main playmaker. I'd say try to see what's in your hand and try to fill that grave up. Solitaire gets you there, too. Just don't be afraid to have a bad turn 1 or take a few LP in the face.

If he gets to the Vendread stuff, they don't have destruction prevention if they don't use Vendread Core as one of the ritual materials.

But their deck is just so inconsistent. Like they only have like 1 3 of, and it's their ritual. It's also likely you just catch them on their massive bricking for an easy win too

Also I just pulled a Prismatic Fallen of Albaz O_o... I guess I'm going full Despia when they get to full power

Thanks for the tip, maybe its just my problem to not want to learn what shiranui deck works. Not enough waifu cards really put a damper on my motivation to play the deck.

Yeah you can't win em all. There's no way every deck is gonna appeal to you, and waifu is a pretty big factor. It isn't completely devoid of girls, but sadly the girl in Shiranui isn't really the strongest part of the deck. The lvl 8 and 10 synchros are probably a bit better esp for closing out games

Pulling it off would be amusing and awesome, though.

I'm thinking I'll just run a ton of Level 4s with special summon effect, then go summon Hope, and, pun intended, hope for the best XD

Dusted off my proper Pendulum deck for ranked and went against Charmers. Pretty fun. They baited me really hard. Activated some random search trap so I negated with Baronne, but their real play was going for Scapegoat link shenanigans. Dammit. >_> I don't know what I'm going to do if/when Halq gets banned in MD. Going into Halq and summoning Tuning Magician to link into Selene, who summons tuning magician, who links up, then use TM's effect to come back a third time is just too fucking good.

Also realized Vortex Dragon misses timing on its spin. Whoops. Still managed to win, but it was fun. I'm never going back to diamond lol.

Heroes can also run the Neo-spacians and not be considered too off-pure. They have a few great ones like Grand Mole and of course Dolphin. Grand Mole used to be limited ages ago for being the 1 card out to literally everything lmao.

I've seen people on Reddit and /vg/ saying that they'll quit Master Duel entirely if Halq gets banned because every single deck they have falls apart without him and they don't have the resources to build new decks that don't use him. That's how much of a crutch he was.

Meanwhile, I can live without him in Sky Strikers (missing the easy Accesscode link climb will suck but I'll find another way to finish duels) and most of my other decks just don't use him at all. The only deck I have that would be completely crippled is the Auroradon deck that I just built due to Cupid Pitch being added, but oh well. I'll use it while I can.

A lot of people think banning Auroradon is better than banning Halq anyways. But for Sky Strikers, if Halq gets banned, you simply play Isolde instead. Much harder to make, no doubt, and requires you to run bricks, but it used to be the meta for SS pre-halq. They also fill your gy with spells, which is an extra bonus.

You also can't go into Selene, but there are other ways to get into Accesscode or even Borrelsword for game, which is something that's been decreasing in frequency, but it's more damage than Accesscode usually.

I would probably cry because it will hurt fusion-based Red-Eyes but Verte is just too good.

Though the 2k LP cost and Verte being a giant magnet of 'attack me' in the field certainly counts as 'drawback' for Red-Eyes.

This "attack monsters" mission makes me really miss the N/R festival. I loved having the battle phase actually matter, rather than just Main Phase 1: Clear Board, Battle Phase: Attack Directly.

Managed to finally do it by Pendulum summoning three monsters and suiciding against some dude's DPE, who had already used its effect on one of my scales earlier. <____<

Yeah, 2 Red-Eyes traps are revivals and one just yanks a monster, so that mission is solved quick. Only one that needs a Red-Eyes to be destroyed.

The 'declare attack' ones suck balls, though. Going first and get wiped in next turn, or going second but mostly can't do shit.

Im currently pulling for extra copies of Odd-Eyes Arc and Revolution dragons, and using the excess to craft staples.

There are (particularly Buster Blader pack or Galaxy pack) but I also intend to make use of the UR (e.g. the Gaia fusions, kinda regret dismantling them lol).

The deck is supposed to complete the trap challenge because my main deck only has one trap but ya the win con is get Is Egyptian God slime or get Obelisk on the field and push for game. But it also has fucking meme cards like An unfortunate report and grateful tear on it

My favorite counter to DPE is letting him pop whatever he wants and he sends himself to the grave, then I set Metaverse and end the term. Right at the opponent draw phase, activate Metaverse and put Necrovalley on the field.

I'm actually debating whether to put a Red-Eyes Fusion for the sake of being Red-Eyes deck or just fuck it and only put Fusion Destiny, in which case why not just go Dragon Link?

Putting RE Fusion in means...sigh, Anaconda. So much for trying to shy away from that plant snake.

I am so lucky my opponent didn't top-deck an out. I summoned Odd-Eyes Absolute, linked into Masquereena, but, as I was mashing B so I wouldn't pitch my Maxx C, I mashed too much and ALSO cancelled Absolute's gy effect to summon Vortex. >_>

Will say though I felt like a smart motherfucker when I let them run over appolusa the turn before. Could've stopped them with the trap, but I held off. Main Phase 2 they cast Polymerization, I chain the trap to kill Albaz, and their fusion fizzles out from lack of material. After that I would've been home free if I didn't fuck up, but in the end I got lucky anyways lol.
