Both of these made me smile though, so having to sit through it was worth it. So far the race for the best alphabet is TIED at 1-1. We have ABCs 1 with Libido > Legacy and ABCs 2 with Zygote > Zetsumetsu. I kind of expect 2 to finish maybe 6 or so higher (so like 16 for 2 and 10 for 1) but I'm not positive on that. People say that 1 was more inconsistent with higher highs and lower lows, and that 2 was more steady with less risks. This seems to lead to people liking one more than the other depending on what they wanted out of them. And you turn out this weird, Lynchian attempt at surrealism that does absolutely nothing for me. No thank you. Suprak Holy shit was this one annoying. There are a lot of bad segments here, but this is the only one I wanted to stuff into a locker and tell it its parents didnt love it. The idea of playing a stutter for laughs is bad enough, but also having all these characters really poorly stutter is annoying as all hell and it feels like half of the segment is just wasting time waiting for them to finish their sentences. It vaguely reminds of The Three Stooges, if The Three Stooges was made by someone that hated The Three Stooges and wanted to make sure you hated The Three Stooges too. The whole ending isnt funny or interesting or scary or well thought out or anything, and its basically a guy with weird faces blowing out a candle over and over again and occasionally there is bagpipe music. Honestly occasionally there is bagpipe music is all I really need to say. Also, fuck these guys for getting around naming conventions. Thats half the fun of this you jerks and subverting it is only a good idea if you are fun with it. The concept here isnt much better and they dont really show anything interesting during its brief run time. It feels like something a high school student might doodle in their notebook while they were failing intermediate geometry and there just isnt anything here that makes this particularly special or interesting. They do some weird body stuff which maybe was supposed to make us feel uncomfortable because of how gross it looks, but the animation is so bad they dont even really pull that off.
