I would kindly ask that we don't feed into corrik too much today. He isn't my biggest concern outside of addressing ulti and I would rather not go down his route today more than required.

just a feeling. he said he already didn't like red day 1. but like... how was red any different from a usual day one. he even later admits it's likely a non factor.

I am going to sit down and hold a town class after this game on why claiming recklessly is stupid and how my pressure tactics have specific purpose and are like super advanced mafia theory and none of you should replicate me.

But frustration aside mr bell I will re read day one assuming sheep's vote on plum was a botched bus and see if it makes sense to me. I caught sheep on that vote with the assumption plum was town but that may have been untrue. So I will reexamine and get back to you.

But my initial thought if you don't get how stupid plum can be in mafia games.

So what I'm wondering is whether or not reading into Sheep's questioning of Isquen's list yesterday should be read into. He was like 'Where are SBell, Mzero, Scare, and JC on your list Isquen?' and alluded to others not being included but the only person he didn't actually ask about is Changmas. Is there a reason he omitted Changmas specifically as a scumbuddy or was it just happenstance? Impossible to know at this point but it did stand out to me.

Hmm okay that is fair i havent played any of the newish games or watch the show so I just jumped to that conclusion. But I had some Ulti suspension prior to this claim.

I like the little Corrik meltdown after some needling from IGCD. Makes me feel good about both of them, probably more so Corrik. It feels like a strange rant to go on as scum, even for Corrik, although I can imagine it in fear of a Town Chris. I don't have Han to lean on for my solid IGCD read this game, but he seems to have done several IGCD things overnight. While I normally feel those as null, these particular shenanigans are giving me a gut Town feeling, though I can't place why. Gonna stick them both as slight town leans for now, cause hell if I'm ever gonna figure out their alignments D1.

I feel good about Chris early in a game, for once? It's disturbing me slightly. Just about everything he's done in this topic has been pro-town, and his lines of questioning are getting answers without the potentially pro-scum claim-forcing which often makes me wary. But I am now paranoid that we've got a Scum Chris who just wants to grab the game by the neck early and thrash us. I've resolved to pray it is indeed Town Chris and re-evaluate tomorrow.

Something that also particularly caught my eye while catching up was the Isquen/Lea/HB interaction. I like Lea's point in a vacuum well enough. Isquen having no thought process at all behind half the reads kinda sucks, and I'm puzzled as to why a few players such as Scare, JC, MZero and SBell are entirely absent from the list, but a large chunk of others are shoved on there with no reasoning before or after. Hell, even why some are put in the inactive pile and others are ignored. Abacus sticks out there as a weird one, possibly because I'd expect Isquen to remember those he's actually played with more.

I do, however, also like HB's criticism of Lea a bit more than hers of Isquen. Even more Town points for HB. I did a little bit of wall on the whole thing myself, before realising that HB was just making the same point from a different angle upon a bleary reread of page 4. What I caught onto initially was that she voted Isquen but not Kirby - her explanation was satisfactory, but the particular Isquen vote feels off, even if I agree his post sucked.

Also, I'm a bit weirded out that I haven't remembered an SBell post yet all game. I can understand why he was missing from Isquen's list. I might want a talk with him before deadline, although I'm not thinking it's alignment indicative as of now given I've noticed him well enough as both Town and Scum in the past.

SBell, what're your thoughts on Lea, Kirby and Sultan?

So the question about him bypassing lopen to vote plum and then unvoting is simple. Was this him bussing or did he run scared when plum was defended?

Yesterday I liked plum's pov and this felt like not a bus to me personally. Not out of the realm of possibility though so I wanted to bring this up so people could think on sheep's vote and then unvote of plum and how 'he isn't getting lynched today anyway' I feel almost a hint of sadness in that, but it isn't concrete.

One thing to keep in mind is ulti sucks at keeping it in his pants as town. He sees power and starts humping the furniture. Ulti also was in his town meta yesterday a little with his more thoughtful approach to the game. Suspicion is fine but he isn't firmly in his scum wheelhouse atm

Can anyone tell me the last time sheep was scum? I want to compare his performances.

How would Corrik have even known Mewtwo was going to be a flavor in the game if he were scum? It was Day 1.

It's not like Mewtwo is anything ridiculously specific anyway, it's probably one of the 5 or 10 most popular overall.

Ulti outside of me apparently needing to die as well as corrik, who are some of your other reads? Tell me your broader vision of the game. What so you think of sheep saying corrik had a meltdown. It felt a little honest and mocking tbh which is why I have trouble seeing corrik as scum but let me know your perspective. We have a lot of scum to kill still maybe I am wrong about corrik, but we can catch one of his buds today if you are right.

So personally, I think Ben and Corrik are dead to rights scum. Sheep is an exceptional town player, and even though he got caught yesterday it doesn't mean his interaction with Corrik is town/scum.

I honestly expected more from Stu, given we just saw him as town MVP. Abacus is also pinging my gut really badly, because he says he's only played two games here. He is not acting like it at all.

Kirby flip-flopping on me yesterday is a massive red flag, but it might just be the guy being far smarter than I am. Still, his logic was basically "I think Ulti is town, but you guys have convinced me he might not be but I have no conviction golly gee whillickers".

He just played the best Indy game I've seen on here in years. I expect more conviction. In fact, let me find the post.

I can agree with some of that. Kirby I feel like being the first on sheep and never letting go is pretty bold bus for a new player to our community even if he is very good.

Chris, do you have anyone else you'd consider for lynch? I read your posts about Ben and Sheep. I didn't quite follow, but I believe it was something about a contradiction in both cases. I'll review it again after my nap since I think it made sense but I just can't think very clearly rn.

I think Ulti should be inspected a bit, because I feel like all he's done is say "x passes/fails the vibe check". But maybe this is in character for him? I don't he was as vibe check-y earlier in the day, so I didn't think he was scummy or out of the ordinary, but now this behavior just seems a tad odd, if I'm remembering correctly.

He had been calling me town all day prior to this. I didn't actually do anything differently that should have made him change his mind, but he magically went to my behavior seeming odd. Hell, he changed his mind multiple times just in that post.

It's fake content and reeks of scum knowing I'm town, letting it slip by mistake too early, then seeing everyone else call me scum and going "oops I need to fit in".

Or he had a headache and found your behavior confounding.

His last scum showing wasn't that good. But you may feel free to have any read you like.

Keep in mind last game plum ultimately never hurt scum due to it being kingmaker. He railed against lopen day one and then went to han who was scum. He bussed but in a fruitless manner.
