Finally, I have no quotes or citations for the neighbors chat just my frank analysis. Ben didnt want to be there and regretted it immediately. He didnt post a lot, when he did it was just repeating what had been said or very tepid new opinions that didnt have a lot of convictions behind them. He didnt want to collaborate, he didnt want to know my inner most thoughts on anything or tips on how to approach certain players if I died. He did the very basic bare minimum and he spent great swaths of time just not there at all. Also keep in mind maybe I didn't specify but I was neighbored before night actions were done. So they could have neighbored me to try to get info out of me before deciding to stab me if they did.

For the record everyone and I can't prove this but Ben said if I died he wouldn't say that we were neighbors. I suggested he not do that either way. So for my own personal score card this is a lie.

However, town could not have possibly known about a universal flavor swap on day one. The only possible way to know this sort of thing on day one would be having advance knowledge of the setup.

Corrik scum slipped advance knowledge of the setup -- a perspective slip, if you will -- long before anyone on town should have known what's what.

There was no need to mention we were neighbors except to make myself look better. I thought I was going to continue being neighbor so eventually I was going to be able to prove that, but yes it was always my intention to not come into today claiming it. That does not change my reasons for neighboring you

Okay funny story. I saw the beginning of this post you're talking about here in my notifications, but this was around when our chat just up and disappeared on us. So I didn't even get a chance to read this post fully. But hey I was asking if you wanted to do it and would have most likely taken your advice.

Anyway my suggestion since this has the potential to be a long game is to end day early since Ben is confirmed scum tbh. Wrap up whatever questions you have and get rested. I know a lot of you start to fatigue during long games so it is good to take a reprieve when it is easy so in later days you aren't as taxed. I personally don't plan to spend any more energy on mafia day 2. I made a great case, I know Ben is lying, I trust you guys to see that and vote accordingly. I will be around but I am for sure relaxing now until I see Ben dead today.

Well I'm not lying. I didnt have to claim we chatted for me to share your thoughts with the game, which is why I asked if i could pass them off as my own. Now once it was revealed I was mason I would have been truthful about everything. But alas. Actually I would have lied and told everyone that you changed your mind on me and decided I am likely town, because that would be better for Town in the end :)

It was soon after Sheep got counter claimed. The very next thing i did after placing a vote myself. Votes were really close at one point btw, which is what prompted me to vote Sheep. I need to go pull that up and see who was trying to swing it to me.

Yeah whatevs. It's unfortunate that you're pushing me because you are unequivocally town and no one else is having to stick out their neck to get me lynched. its part of why I wanted to keep our neighbor chat a secret for day 2 so we could see who we could bait. Its probably best that I die now just to make it clear it was scum/town yesterday. My town list matches up with yours pretty much exactly, so I have full confidence the game will be won as long as people follow that.
