If you single them out they sound awful. If you remember he was trying stuff constantly over decades and these were the outliers, it's really not so bad. Reminds me of his 9/11 jokes. He's a comedian, he's going to try to make you laugh. It's very clear that there is no ill intent behind any of this. I'd get it if he was doing nothing but jokes like this. But the fact you need to hunt them down says it all This. He was a dirty edgy comic like Saget, and like Saget, people say he was super kind and friendly in real life.
