Rushia didn't supposedly leak every Holo info etc or whatever to the Keemstar knock off outside of a single screenshot of an interaction between her and a non-public manager. Still, that confirmation alone looked really bad for her, and she apologizes

Rushia made a really bad kneejerk reaction out of fear of being harassed. Keemstar knock off claimed to have some evidence of them being in a relationship (which was most likely screenshots of her asking Keemstar fuck the contact info and various other things about Mafumafu, which was confirmed to have happened). So she gave a screenshot of her house to the Keemstar knock off because Cover was not gonna make an official announcement before Keemstar shithead makes the stream. That of course started off a massive chain of unfortunate events that ultimately resulted in her being ejected

JP simps were really fucking wrong on this one yet again. So much for the whole you dumb foreigners don't understand anything. Nah I think coupled with all the screenshots and now this statement from Rushia, there was no huge misunderstanding aside from Cover's own statement, which was also in English, about how much Rushia did end up leaking. Korekore was the worst person in this whole affair. If he didn't threaten to blabber on about how he can prove these two were in a relationship, Rushia would've never been forced to do anything dumb.

He has been facing harassment since his now infamous stream actually, which is why his fans have been angry or whatever. Whatever harassment he's facing is honestly well deserved. He probably caused more harassment to Rushia overall.

One thing I couldn't absolutely confirm is if Rushia post-termination did truly leak even more shit to her highest paying fans out of revenge. It's just kinda weird that Cover basically said they're not changing any of their statements might suggest that Rushia might've done a bit more than just leak a single convo btwn her and a manager.

I just hope Rushia does great in her new career. I don't fully know all of this story, nor do I understand Japanese Idol culture. But I think Rushia is a victim in all this and didn't deserve to be punished

She probably deserves it actually. She did give private company info to uninvolved people. This much is confirmed by her now as well. Also I believe that particular incident happened long before the whole situation went down, so she wasn't forced.

If I were to guess, it probably wasn't out of spite/revenge. She was probably getting hammered by harassment and let some shit slip out of just being... out-of-sorts. I find it hard a company would extend any sort of attempt at an amicable ending to the situation if she did spite-leak info. When you're getting torn down it's easy to de-value things that aren't directly personal in your head.

NDA stuff gets you fired everywhere, it doesn't -matter- if you're a beloved icon of the field or not.

But a considerable amount of the fanbase are not businessfolk so here goes another back and forth over "corpo bad" and outright not believing everyone involved :|

I think the easiest route is to just accept there was a disconnect. Rushia probably did something, whether small or big we can only speculate, but there was a violation somewhere. I really doubt any company would fire one of their top earners without some decent reason behind it.

I think legal issues can straight up be more expensive than however much Rushia brought them over the years. It also sets a bad precedence if they ever look over something like this, since it might prompt other talents to think that as long as they earn enough, they can set the rules

But that's not really how a company works.

Also Cover is private, but they are also backed by venture firms. I'm pretty sure they'd have a reason to pull out if they see how loose a tech company like Cover is with their info.

Rushia should've been fired here like 100%. She's lucky that's all there was to it tbh cuz she could've been liable for more, like that manager she outed could easily just sue her right now and it'd be justified.

Kiara explained it on her last stream in her hotel room. She needed a mocap suit since her's wouldn't arrive in time for her birthday, so she went to Ame's office in the US. Ina heard they were going to meet up so she asked to join, then Gura heard there was going to be a meetup so she asked to join. Calli's in the US now too, I forget if there was some other reason but she's with Gura so they're all going to meet up together. Fauna also visited Ame's office for the rare opportunity to meet Kiara.

From what I understand gura/ina/kiara stayed at ame's house for a few days, kiara went sightseeing around the country after that and ina went back home for a prior engagement.
Now that calli is taking a trip in the US, gura spent some time with her there at the airbnb. I heard the rest of the myth girls will meet up with her there, but don't know for sure.

on the flip side, I'm reminded of that story enna had where she hung out with a friend and they had another friend (who she didn't know) along, and somehow the conversation switched got onto streamers/vtubers. and that other friend said they watched nijisanji EN. and enna was basically just like "ok now I can't talk for the rest of the meetup" and hasn't hung out with that person again since
