Yes signs point to it being Rushia which is kind of baffling if true. Unless she stays on Youtube she's probably losing a chunk of her audience, but I guess she really relies on having some sort of management

Yeah as much as the audition process exists, Holo has often hired amongst friends and usually saw great fit from whoever they hired. Unfortunately Sana was just not a streamer. She had physical issues, but long b4 it got bad, she did choose her art career over streaming and basically killed her entire momentum. She used her pet's death as a bit of an excuse, but her missing for a good month was kinda unacceptable, and it basically turned out later, during her hiatus and even after she officially returned, that she prioritized a big art commission over streaming.

There's nothing wrong with it, but it's expecting a lot from the average audience to stick by her despite all of this. It's not like she's some extremely talented streamer or anything, so her excessively low numbers were kinda expected. Majority of her numbers came from the first week of her debut and she basically never made any stride streaming wise. 200k is still a lot for vtubers, but I think her average numbers in general were extremely low, meaning a lot of the subs were people subscribing to all of Holo, like most Holo fans tend to do.

My friend was pretty into her so I feel a bit bad, but she kinda had it coming. I think for how competitive and limited the space is in Holo, you really could say like that space could've been used by anybody else who was extremely passionate and desperate for the position.

"she had it coming" seems to gloss over that she requested to leave per the actual announcement.

unless you want to play the game of perpetually disbelieving and second guessing everything everyone involved says and does, which seems counterproductive to actually enjoying the medium.

Numbers can't have been a concerning factor, given that we have folks that both stream -less- and draw less audience among the roster.

Saying that she prioritizes the IRL job more does seem fair per the phrasing, but at the same time we have extremely limited insight on the circumstances.
