Won right away on the first attempt. Didn't even bother getting Fujin's HE first.
The D580 fight was, obviously, an easy sub-30.

Luneth AA2 is a FBC/weakness boost, so I wonder if I should take him to III DK instead of Desch (though that would mean a mixed team and losing an LBO). On the other hand, 30% weakness damage is pretty huge. This also means I finally have BDL on one of the 2.0 phys wind chain users.

That Mog G+ is lenseable, but saving 2000 lenses isn't bad.

Got my first really good pull of the fest, DK Cecil sync2! Also got Auron's sync and Rubicante's chain which I probably won't use.

Happy for Cloud's hero gear. Makes my auto labyrinth team much quicker as now Cloud can instacast Sentinel instead of Vincent doing it and taking forever to do his omni imperil sync.

Both tickets were dupes today, Qustis AOSB and Edgar awakening, but they're both rank ups for Bio so that's nice.

Also banner 3 and 4 seem a lot less appealing now with earth guardian done. Maybe I should do more pulls on banner 2 for Paine's dual awakening and Rem stuff?

Used my 4 labyrinth tickets on V, trying to get a character who isn't Bartz to a useable level. I had 3 awful pulls, followed by this ridiculous pull:

The mogballs were Bartz LBO and Bartz earth Dyad. One of the discos was a Bartz earth AASB dupe (3/15). So much for improving the non-Bartz characters.

Can a stacked Bartz sub-30 Bahamut by himself? I doubt it.

That's why I put off the boss, because this banner is too good to pass up. But yeah, go for it on banner 2. Paine's dual awakening + sync looks like a great combo.

I bit and did one more pull on banner 2- 2/11 Sephiroth Sync 2 and Maria sync 2! Nice! I hate to see Maria sync 1 get the boot but it's pretty hard to compete with a Papalymo like sync.

Maybe I can finally sub30 Kalavinka Striker now with this and her Dyad now.

Her awakening is lensable too.

2/11 Zack dyad and Cloud Dual Awakening!

Yes! That was my most wanted because the FFVII Nexus is next, which honestly was the reason I caved in. Now I just need to get Cloud's hero gear.

Also really ironic how I've been hoping to get Cloud's normal awakening for years but I pull his dual in one try. I'll lens it after all the fest tickets are done assuming I don't get it from those.

My most wanted is Tidus; with that and his ATB sync he could go truly berserk!

Anyway with Zacks dual I think I should actually be able to kill physical Lich once I farm up Zack/Clouds HE. Not sure if Ill take Zidane (dyad/sync/LBO/no HE) or Wedge (sync/awakening/worse LBO/HE) for the final slot (with Zack getting in some imperils Vaan with just AA2 is out).

First try, and first labyrinth sub-30 without overdrive. I never even got to use Zack's dual awakening, he had to chain twice and used his sync instead to get the crit fix for Zidane. (I used Orran over Quina for the aegis counter).

When you summon it you want to immediately use the finisher (the ability in the SB slot) since it uses up chain/clock time and will be weaker than a full party. If you do that and cap it should deal 400k (so basically a four hit LBO). However, they can also be used to tank problematic attacks (e.g. full break or a stun), so the best time to use one is right before one of those with the LBGS finisher pushing the boss past the threshold for the attack you want to avoid.

That could prove very useful I suppose

I might just pull until I get a dasb rip my mythril stash

Apparently the VII Crystal Dungeon boss has a full break, and there's a bigger penalty for bringing even 1 off realm character there. Cloud's limit guardian is one way to dodge it.

I did one more pull on banner 2... 4/11 - dupe Paine awakening, Sephiroth awakening, Rem awakening, Snow DASB. Meh. Maybe I should stamp Snow's sync so he's useable.

I have 4 draws left this fest... definitely doing 3 on b4, not sure if I should do b2 or b3 for the other one (or save it for 4 also).

It looks like I was actually way too conservative with my mythril count; even after doing some LotRs that I had originally meant to postpone until the end of fest, Im back up to 188 mythril (with three pulls made). Not sure if Im actually gonna do 7 pulls instead of 6 or just save it.

Maria with dyad and sync 2 is nuts! If it wasn't for the 5 second wall wasting the sync time this would have been a sub20, and the annoying paintings making me hold back on Red's awakening to combine with his sync.

Also I've had no luck getting Cloud gear from the labyrinth, it keeps giving me Barb stuff when I already have her 5/5/8 from Earth Guardian. Ugh.

I suppose with a team with 2 DASBs I really should be able to go faster than that. Not sure what I'm doing so fundamentally wrong. It really doesn't matter anyway.

It's hard to sub30 the older nexus bosses due to the paintings and 5 second wall. I'm going to go for a better time on Sandworm too but the Cloud curse is now on his hero gear since I've done two manual runs and haven't gotten any armor for Cloud! And all the buster swords I've gotten are useless temp attack up passives. Why does the game keep giving me Luneth and Barb stuff when the nexus bosses gives those out?!

At least I finally got a disco off the daily since the 10 a day thing started, Sazh awakening 2! Dunno if this is any good though since I go mage in 13 and Sazh doesn't have a aegis counter I think.

First 650 lab beaten. Zack and Bartz just fell over and I used my new summon to eat the maze gate and then cloud did an omnislash for the win. Pretty epic tbh

Well after doing a third manual run and not getting any Cloud armor again I used record markers to clear stamina, finally got an armor and it's 5%! Now I just need the weapon at 5%.

First ticket was Garland limit break glint, second was Lulu Awakening 2! Finally a second cap break for her!

Used my realm ticket on FF1 and got a dupe Meia awakening 2. At least it's a rank up for elemental bahamut.

Used the realm ticket on V and got nothing but dupes.

Phew, the Gogo sync rescued that set of pulls. The Bartz AA feels kinda bad since that was the only non-dupe I got off of the sync select banner. I guess the Garland LMR might be useful, though it looks kinda weak.

Gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with Cloud so far, I swapped Bartz for him but he takes too long to get 4 bars, I tried swapping Vaan for Faris so she can entrust Cloud but that still takes a while and Faris's damage sucks compared to Vaan. At best it's like a 35 second win on Sandworm. Those paintings and 5 second wall really are fucking annoying. My Bartz/Luneth/Vaan team can come close to sub30ing Sandworm but it's RNG dependent on Bartz. I got sub 31 but that was with really good dualcast luck from Bartz and Vaan.

Maybe if I can get Sarah's quick cast USB or a dyad for Vaan or Bartz I can get that sub30...

I didnt have a junk level 99 wind magicite for Dr. Mogs homework, so I was forced to finally make a defensive Valefor (with health/healing)

Having that, I wonder if I should make another Madeen (rather than use a health/healing one); not sure how necessary doubling up on those (Ive been getting away with only one of each until now, though I have occasionally had issues like keeping Vivi alive for Snow Giant).

I haven't revisited Sandworm yet but Cloud's problem has always been that he's super bar hungry. My plan is to use Quina to entrust him, but that will work a lot better if I get Quina's aegis counter on tomorrow's banner. The one I've been kinda disappointed with is actually Zidane. Two cap breaks (dyad+sync) isn't enough to compete with Cloud's damage, but also his sync command 1 often doesn't cap or even break 20k, even while his HA hits the 30k cap. I wish he had some way to get multiple BDLs.

I embraced the fact I keep getting Bartz relics with my V tickets, and basically went the Bartz solo-dps route. OD turn 1, Wind G+ turn2, Earth Dyad turn 3, then AASB1. During this setup, Ignis buffs Bartz to 100% crit and crit damage. Bartz starts hitting 29,999 right away after this setup.
At the start of phase 2, Galuf uses his earth chain, Bartz combines AASB2+3, and Kelgar uses his AASB to do whatever damage he can. Ignis uses Full Break on Bartz at the start of phase 3, with means he can do (29,9995)3 at instant speed all the way through.
Outside the chain in phase 2, Galuf used USB3 as much as possible to help improve Bartz's damage

Paine Sync and Rikku AASB to get through phase 1. Every other listed SB used at the start of phase 2. Mog's role was the same as the FFI fight: AASB2 right away, spamming Sync cmd 2 in phase 2, AASB2 followed by Sync cmd1 in phase 3.
Lulu with Sync+AASB was doing ridiculous damage, especially boosted with that Mog Sync cmd1: 29,99983. That's 720k per turn.

Given all that, I'll probably skip the 100 mythril Sync select. I was thinking about picking Tidus Sync 2 or possibly Meia Sync, but now that I've sub-30'd both of their Bahamuts (and beaten, though not sub-30'd both Salamanders), this garbage banner really doesn't entice me anymore.

You can use your real level 99 magicite for these missions. Inherit some random piece of fodder into it, choose not to change anything, done. You still get credit.

Huh, really? Maybe I'm thinking of the inheritence book missions, but I seem to remember that there was something that only counted inheriting stuff on magicite that had not previously inherited anything.
