I hope the fix for Arcane weapons happens soon. I wanted to use Mohg's Sacred Spear on my 2nd character, but apparently it isn't scaling at all?

Lotta waifus in this game, not sure which one is the waifu for me.

Discovered some more content i missed my previous playthroughs. I might try activating all graces and do all the minibosses. Although id prob get burnt out halfway

Hows the buff on consumables with Arcane boosted? Is it noticeable?

Ya you should be able to.

There is usually some options to change it when picking ash like "keen, standard,magic,occult,blood,etc.."

Keen = more dex scaling
Magic = adds int scaling to weapons without it.

Etc.. i forgot what the one for strength is called.

You need various types of whetstone to start seeing these options. I had picked up all of them in my older save file but forgot where.

For ex: there is a whip that goes from a or b scaling in dex to s scaling with "keen" ash at a high enough upgrade level.

Missables that you might want a second copy of for powerstancing, or your first if there's branching paths with separate rewards like for Millicent and Seluvis' quests.

@Captain_Qwark Maybe see if you can equip the exact same weapon art it already has, and then change its scaling from there? I haven't tried to see if that works though. It would suck if you're forced to change a weapon for art if you want the scaling from infusions.

They do change the scaling too. You should be able to see how it effects it in the stat menu that pops up.

I have played for like 25 hours now and I have only followed one set of glowing tracks. The Witcher 3 really made that objective popular.

You can't fast travel inside of some dungeons if you haven't beaten them. Alternatively you can mark them on your map, or highlight the Graces which is apparently a thing.

unfortunately they missed the actual most broken thing in the game (for PvP at least and arguably PvE)

OMG so many spells got fp consumption reduction and some of them got damage increase.daamn

makes me wanna play as mage again but wanna experience mostly melee build first

I hope those spells getting buffs helps with some of those late game bosses lol. Surely something will still be broken by then!

Heh yeah that is a good fix.

It's funny how many things are actually shown on the map. They just don't explain what they are.

I didnt get to play around with sword of night and flame. Apparently flame only does 2/3s of its original damage and azur comet for the sword only does 1/3 of its original damage

Today's adventure was beating the few remaining bosses and getting all of the endings/trophies. I'm very glad I did this today as I got it in just before the patch.

While I didn't abuse hoarfrost, I definitely relied on mimic tear being OP. Dude was kicking ass in my Melania fight. I gave him that black great sword that you can get from one of the last few bosses souls that decreases max hp meanwhile i used a faster blood weapon. The stagger worked great. He also put in some good work on the final boss who is irritating af as he runs around the field.

New quests are pretty much all just for npcs that I screwed up on. I'll probably wait for a guide on them before starting ng+

Anyone test Mimic Tear? I read it's an idiot now and won't use skills anymore just weapons. If true, I wished they just made it do less damage and/or have less health than nerfing it like that. Black Knife Tiche might be the best summon now.

I'm so disappointed that I decided to do my first playthrough as a Pure Int Sorcerer. All these Sorceries getting buffed when I'm already fucking done gunning down every boss with Sorceries on NG+. I'm never starting another pure Int character so I guess I'll enjoy these buffs when I help other people with bosses. Hoarfrost Stomp deserved what it got. I'm excited about weapon scaling being fixed, and I believe one of those Perfumes that got buffed is the one that tanks a hit for you and your allies so that's neat. Also it's never fun seeing a line like:

It delt pretty nice damage and you can get it pretty early/easily, but it wasn't problematic like Hoarfrost Stomp.

I was actually using Tiche more than Mimic before the nerf. So much more mobility/dodging with insane DPS with the dot it applies

Wtf there is an ensnare trap in southern limgrave that takes you to the capital (well a small part of it)

Also maybe mimic is still ok with bleed builds

Knew they were going to ruin Barricade Shield. That skill made everything absolutely trivial

General buff to shields is good though!

Did they change the Bloodhound Fang? Thats been my weapon ever since I got it.
