I love Electrode's energy but never really used one.
I actually used Heliolisk and Boltund on my Shield playthrough, and Heliolisk is really good with Parabolic Charge and he levels up quickly, but I don't actually like its design too much. Boltund is the other way.
Manectric and Zebstrika look cool but never really used them either (or I forgot).

My vote would be for Raitora, but it got cut. So I'll have to settle for Toxtricity. At least it's closer to Raitora than anything yesterday was to Kotora.

but these are all so much better than their pre-evos. Shame Electrode is another kinda uninspired Gen 1 design without any of the interest to make it exciting, and it doesn't even really do the mimic gimmick as nicely as Voltorb. I don't even like dogs that much, but Boltund is long and good and I want one. The lizard Heliolisk is based on runs funny and while I don't care about it beyond that, it's still neat and a vast improvement over whatever Helioptile is based on. Zebstrika is decent enough, although just "zebra" is not enough to win me over without the cuteness of its preevo. Toxtricity is what I would look like if I were a talented musician and had the guts to dye my skin yellow during a particularly bad bout of jaundice, so it has my respect. Also, it looks like making this a posting thing may actually have improved engagement >_>
