aw yea got the Ursarctics secret pack on the last card of the last pack I was gonna open before stopping, time to start building that deck

Never got into the feel of that deck, but it is pretty cool how it pretty much is Dark Synchros but with polar bears.

Same thing just happened to me. 5 game win streak from gold 4 to gold 3, boosted me up to plat 5.

That was my goal for the season so I can chill now.

Now that we're at around double digit B8 players, we should get a B8 tournament going sometimes.

The duel rooms make it pretty easy to do that.

Haha the Switch port is soooooo bad. I'm working on a Lyrilusc Tri-Brigade deck and the game keeps crashing before I finish. I'll definitely have to switch this over to Steam once I start playing for real.

I think this ranked season ends at the end of the month, battle pass still has something like 70 days left on it!

One of my accounts got a droplet and imperm in the special packs and the secret pack pulls were above average.

Crafted droplet, pulled twenty pulls from the darklord packs to get another( and a lot of good darklord stuff to make my darklord Despia deck when the latter comes out).

I put a Madolche deck together, but I'm not really sure how to play it in this meta. Feels like everyone has a setup that outclasses it turn 1. There are probably some good cards I don't have but I'm a bit worn out on the game already.

I keep seeing Madolches pop up as decks people are using on Reddit as well. Back when I played for real, it seemed like a super niche deck that I only really ever saw on YGOPRO, unless they got a whole bunch of support after 2016 that I'm just not aware of.

The only experience I have with the deck is playing it a handful of times in solo mode to see how to string the combinations.

But I manged to pull off the nightingale otk. The other guy was playing evil eye.

Don't remember what years, but they did get a nice trap negate, an xyz to help with protection and grave manipulation, and a link to help protect their spells. And salon is hilariously powerful.

Either keep it below 5 summons per turn, negate it or have enough resources to not care.

Trying to think of a new deck idea, but have none right now. My biggest issue is that I like gimmicky/weird decks and those tend to not be really viable.

I used the rest of my CP getting buster blader stuff and starry knight stuff, neither of which is sure to be a real gamebreaker. Is chain strike in here? Maybe you could do chain burn, that feels gimmicky but also viable

Ehhh, grab them if you must, but I would wait until the Trouble Sunny portion of that archetype comes in before you make a full deck-gives them a new, easier to summon boss monster and another search spell

What are the best resources for someone looking to dip their toes into this as far as deck building goes? I haven't played since xyz was introduced and have no clue where to begin. I used to play Zombies so maybe seeing what they look like these days could be fun.

I've been using YGOProDeck, you can search by various ways to your liking and can find some fun builds

MasterDuelMeta dot com has been great for me. There are some guides on how to play decks, but more than that there's an easy way to see all of the decks people are using, as well as different variations of said deck.

I've been playing this a bit. I only really care about screwing around though so I don't know how much I'll get out of this after a point.

It's a casual deck and all but Resonators have gotten shockingly legit with all the new support since I last played Yugioh. All you need is Crimson Resonator and a level 4 and you can go straight into Red Supernova Dragon, which is a way more legit boss monster than Red Nova was. These are the busted plays I was looking for that you can see with Synchron but couldn't with Resonator.

Oh I meant to ask, why can't I use Ash Blossom on Glad Beast tag outs?

Reg linked it but duellogs is a youtube channel that does top 10 lists on yugioh cards on whatever category strikes his fancy at the time. It's great for learning about the history of the game.

Also RE Ash blossom I would also be interested in this answer, the only thing I can think of would be possibly missing the timing or something? I don't have enough indepth knowledge of the game mechanics, I just kinda go "oh okay I cant use this card here for some reason" and shrug my shoulders

Ash Blossom is a 'when you can' card, so it can miss timing.
Maybe some other effect chained to the Gladbeast's summon first?

LMAO did a 5 chain, but maintenance started during the match, so when it ended, the game just booted me. Trophy didn't pop

Everything I know says you should be able to use Ash for it. So maybe something else is going on, like CBTG

Does anyone have experience with how cross-progression works? I wanted to play on my Switch for the portability, but also do it on PC since it's more stable. After I link the accounts, can I seamlessly choose one or the other, or do I have to do that QR code thing every time?

It's a seamless transition. I've been switching been PC and PS5 and it's been fine.

Madolche are great. They have some busted cards tbh. They're not S tier, but they can compete for sure unlike SOME archetypes. (Like my favourite deck, Blackwings, which I hit a brick wall with at Gold 3)

I just finished up a Plunder Patroll deck that's been pretty fun to play. Like it more than both my Ice Barriers and Timelord decks.

I'm not sure about a gift box limit, but I think any gems in there expire after a month if not redeemed.

Yea, banlist was a nice shakeup-all the bans were good calls (good riddance, IO), and the only changes I question are the Monster Gate hit(apparently due to a Ruinforce FTK), and the skill drain unlimit. Might force the meta to run more backrow hate to deal with Mine/Drain decks.

Also, since everyone is giving codes and such, here is mine: 916-422-522

So do those bans go to master duel as well? Or are they just tcg bans? Or is master duel basically tcg but online, rather than an official ocg?
