Big news from the JP side of the game:
- New magicites
Neo Bahamut (probably easier than Lab Nexus) and Bahamut Zero (new endgame), like Odin those will come for all 8 (9?) elements, so I guess, like Odin, you'll be able to inherit their passives from one version to the other

- New realm content
Historia Crystal level caps increase to 140, so keep hoarding those rat tails.
2 difficulty levels

Also some kind of new chain relics that can increase the maximum chain count if there's already a chain active, but those don't really seem all that amazing based on the description.

So, two new magicites confirmed for JP: d600 Neo Bahamut and d700 Bahamut Zero. Plus some other new realm mode with another level of HC cap breaks. Sounds interesting...

Well it's more don't forget to do the weekly missions for rat tails, seems like a lot of people stopped when they got every HC max leveled.

I saw final form Ultimecia in the video as well, maybe the new realm content will be final bosses?

I forgot I had Serafae's awakening until now and attempted the Core Dreambreaker, I got him with only 3 cap breaks!

Yeah Serafie worked surprisingly well with just her awakening... I guess that hero gear helps a lot!

Yeah, I'm guessing these fights will be the final bosses too. I really hope we get a FF1 labyrinth with a Warmech fight, since there probably won't be many more chances for it.

So far this LotR has been a pretty huge disaster... 2/3 of the way through all I have to show from it is a dyad on a character whos not even on a team

Also, been realizing that I've very much been ignoring the citadel weekly quests for rat tails, and good lord do I need some. Realized I have a solid FF15 team, and Deadeye is mainly just damage, with only a backrow stun to worry about. Put together a quick auto team, and it kills him consistently in 14.84. So that's out of the way for the future at least!

I finally did Transcendent Long Gui. I've been super lazy about the transcendent fights (I still haven't done the Omega and Shin Ryu one from 4th anniversary) but I want to try to knock off the ones that give you mythril at least. Although most of these fights have really tedious gimmicks... when I'm looking at the Warring Triad AI it doesn't sound worth it.

Oh geez, Enigmatic Orb is from 3rd anniversary and I haven't even done that one.

Fury's Roar is the oldest one I haven't done (I've finished the four older ones, Iron Giant, and Shadowsmith)

I finally got my last Transcendant fight (Chaos) done this fest. Those fights really can be a huge pain.

RoP gave me Strago's BDL Glint+. It's basically a Dyad, so that's very nice.

Turns out a lot of these battles are autoable now. I just did Enigmatic Orb, Zeromus EG, and Proto Terror with my labyrinth auto team. (All magic teams won't work for Enigmatic Orb but I have Agrias for imperiling so she got through the no magic damage phase)

Man, that fucking Ward AASB, I can't believe it. I'm this close to having it fully honed, just from drawing so many copies on various RoPs, ticket banners, or LDs.

Beefs up Ingus just a bit more (though he still doesnt make my phys earth team), and all I had for healing in FF2 was Hildas USB1, so thats super helpful. Though after checking, I actually now have both of Inguss AASBs, so maybe hes worth taking a quick look at.

Yeah the 100% crit and infusion chases on Delitas AASB make it pretty awesome

Anyway, now that II and III LotR are over I lensed Hilda/Aria USBs and beat II, III, (and IX a few days ago) Gilgameshes. I should be able to do XI too; probably not gonna bother with XV and Tactics this time around (or maybe just do the D500) since I only have 2 and 1.5 BDL for those.

Lightning was having some serious problems breaking cap without critfix... probably gonna have to lens that Snow USB for the DK, though Im not sure how to manage gauge with him then with two BDL

Decent. Didn't get any dual awakenings and didn't get Y'shtola's stuff (I wanted her G+ almost as much as her sync since it would be great when using her for offense on a two moogle team). But getting both of Rinoa's goodies and a cap break for Garnet is solid.

Banner 4 is the only one I have any interest in and that's pretty much just for Bartz Dual Awakening, I'll probably do 3 to at least get the costume.

Did a couple of posts, 1/11 ysthola glint but second was 2/11 with rinoa sync and garnet dual awakening. Mostly pulled because my IX, XIV, and XIII teams really needed tech so hey why not

No dual awakening or syncs, but those are the characters I was mostly pulling for

Beat magic-weak Abductor with my new Rinoa stuff. I actually screwed up and used her new awakening before the sync, which prevented the abilities from linking. It should be much better to use the sync by itself (with the cap break G+) and then the two ice AASBs together.

I dont know why, but Rinoas dps was really mediocre. I had her under her USB1 and AASB1+3 for the second chain and she was doing like 12k per hit at max chain (RW chain which explains part of it, but still... she has maxed HE and everything!)

Team composition matters a lot! I was doing a Gordon/Hilda gimmick before and Vanille + Barret made the fight a lot easier. Barret just hands out insta casts like they're candy (I have his second Awakening and his Sync and his 15 hit ultra) which helped damage quite a bit. Also Vanille just being my stacked healer who I should really use for everything when I can (basically have all her stuff + rank 15 awakening)

Wait can I really inherit lord's seal ice from physical odin onto both my magic and physical odins? That makes this task of making out a physical and magical Odin a bit less daunting than once believed

Yes. If there's an element where you can't clear both physical and magical, you can just clear one version twice to get the seal on both Odins.
