I think I've been putting them off too long, though; afaik 3 BDL is the benchmark (and I know you can kill them with less) which I think I have for almost all realms (though I'd need to lens at least a USB for most of the healers). I think for DBs you can get away with a level 80 HC? But it did seem like wait mode made things easier even though it limited my options (like at one point I had to have Aria defend when I normally would have just waited a few ticks to use her USB after his next action). So it's definitely not pure upside but it might still be a net positive for me. Anyway now I can unlock OK's bonus tiles which was the main point of doing it. They came out when syncs were pretty uncommon and before dyads, and if you want to start with them I'd recommend FF4, Zeromus is just bulk and nothing else. Offense wise he's even tamer than 4* magicite (relatively) The Lightning labyrinth opens next week, and now that hero artifact drop rates have been increased, and you get a guaranteed one from the final boss it's a good time to catch up on any water relics you want good passives on. --- https://imgur.com/6AevF0Y LOL!!!! SSJSephirothGokuX123 12/09/21 12:21:55 AM #308:	I did a last minute dream select on Awakening for Bartz' earth awakening yesterday since it has the Minwu/Master 50% chance of dualcasting to try and beat Snow Giant and I still can't kill him before I get timed out on the last phase! AUGH! I fucking hate this short turn limit bullshit! It's really killing my interest in this game if this is what the game's superbosses are going to continue to be like. These short turn limits aren't legit hard, it's just a flat out DPS check and it's becoming more like you *need* to have the latest fancy syncs or dyads or whatever to do enough damage in a very, VERY short time span after the 5 second wall wastes your cap break time. Only having 3 turns is stupid, and if you're awakening/sync runs out because of the wall or chain runs out well tough shit! Gotta do the long annoying fight all over again! Oh also he interrupts if you don't have enFire right after he diffuses you and then confuses slot 2-4 cutting you're already short time even lower! Dorgann's imperil doesn't get going until far too late, and with Silvery Pillar being magical, it failed to break rage a couple times (plus not being able to tell Odin's earth imperil state, because it imperils everything lol). My magicite setup is as follows: Odin (BW/SW) Titan (HP/empower) Ramuh (HP/healing) Madeen (atk/atk) Madeen (HP/healing) That second Madeen should be double deadly strikes 10, so I'll swap that in. All Syncs/AASBs had worn off (though Gladio's AASB was still going, since he started late), had just put down a third chain, and had about 6% hp to chew through. Just got it done after argent primal essence triggered 4/5 last stands. Leaving Noctis in seemed to be the right call, as he could still juuuust break cap, even through aegis. Dorgann's damage was okay, thankfully he got a couple procs of his imperil LMR, but imperil in general was likely my biggest issue. So I have my physical Odin now, and already leveled him up to 99, so that's sweet! It didn't seem like there was much of a time penalty; I got the 500 one down in like 21.5s and the 550 one sub 30 (forget the exact time; probably like 27 or 28s despite some dumb chain timing on my part). Sometimes I'm even tempted to max hone her awakening but I'm saving my tickets for FF1 when the banners refresh in hopes of getting Master's sync. Even after Kraken there's still Blue Dragon and FF8 Shiva he can help with, and whenever the FF1 Nexus comes out. SSJSephirothGokuX123 12/12/21 1:35:05 PM #335:	According to one of those NicoNico videos I think they said because of that mobile Final Fantasy Tactics game they have to go through approval with that team now to put new stuff for the characters, same thing with the MMOs which is why their events are so rare. Before that mobile game came out FFT was dormant and they could release a new event whenever they wanted, nowadays we only got Tactics stuff to go with the Dreambreaker and Dragonking. And yeah it sucks to be Mustadio, I think he and Naja are like the only non core/beyond characters to lack awakening and higher tech? Ramza has been bad for a long time which is pretty disappointing. He either needs to go back to being a top tier support or be an actual good DPS. Delita is great but he only has two cap breaks so he should get a dual awakening and dyad. USB2 seems better, but I'm not sure how well it works for this fight. The boss loves his Sap, so the Regenga will be quickly overwritten. IC1 is cool, but is it better than a 100% Fire Shield?
