Next powercreep coming this fest in December, basically a buffed up awakening with a dyad like trigger and a instant ATB. Helps a lot with Dragonking since the trigger will grant another cap break to deal with King's Rage.

I already was running full mage with Braska, Yuna and Lulu, I use Wakka as an entrustbot or his realm chain for Bahamut. But I will probably use Seymour over Lulu now because Lulu sucks!

Ah I was planning on running Seymour/Braska/Lulu once I got healing stuff for Yuna. What sucks about Lulu? (I have her sync but havent tried it out yet)

Her damage is poor even with her HA, she struggles to break cap against Bahamut and Sin. Most likely because she covers 3 elements even though I doubt anyone uses her for water or lightning.

Ah yeah multi-element stuff definitely seems to be over-penalized in this game. I think her HE is coming out soon, so hopefully thatll help by the time I get around to trying Sin.

I wasn't expecting such a free draw bonanza today. I got Galuf's second awakening with the physical AASB pull! That helps my earth team (whenever I next need it) and my V team. The magic one was a dupe Golbez awakening, which I got with the last dream select...

I'm not really sure what to do with my tickets. I could still use some help with XII just because the lensable healing options are so bad. But there are other realms I need help and might have better odds on now.

3 new AASBs is very nice. That Rydia AASB2 might be just what I needed to finally take down that stupid IV Bahamut, as I should now finally have a reliable way of breaking King's Rage if I combine AASB1+AASB2.

Oh whoops didn't realize you didn't get wodin seals from the copies you use to cap break... guess I'm gonna have to replicate my holy-weak clear too instead of just dark-weak several times

UGGGGHH I still can't beat FF10 Bahamut even with Seymour's awakening! What a BS boss, he hits so hard on top the anti heal that Mog keeps dying. I dropped Wakka for Lulu so I have 4 mages but I still can't beat the phase 2 mega flare because Lulu is so fucking weak!

I don't want to get Seymour's HA but if I did it would have gotten me to phase 3 at least... but anima lens+ are so rare now and Seymour won't make a dark mage team...

Guess all I can do is wait until Lulu's hero gear is out.

Bahamut is the most sadistic fight I can remember in this game. I've done a bunch of tries today on the XII but haven't beaten him. Just the combination of a phase where you need to continually use tons of soul breaks to stay alive... with a move that drains your soul break bar... and can cancel your soul breaks while you're in the middle of casting them... THEN a 70% full break you need to counter... and a short time to deal 20k+ hits... it's just evil. I kept hitting phase 3 with Orran not having enough bar to counter full break, so I couldn't stop King's Rage. But I can't think of anything I can do differently without dying earlier.

Yeah, but what pisses me off the most is that's he's been around for almost a year! You'd figure power creep would get to him already (well almost since Dual Awakening are coming next month...)

I'm confounded people were able to beat 5/10 Bahamut day 1.

Well, I finally got past the King's Rage bit of XII Bahamut and still couldn't finish the fight, my cap breaks ran out and my finishers didn't deal enough damage. It wasn't even close (around 15% left) so I guess I can stop putting my effort into this fight until I get some better SBs for the realm.

I actually got a free AASB from today's daily draw. It was only Shelke, so I doubt this will be very useful any time soon, but that was still a nice surprise.

3/11: Strago AASB, Strago USB, Strago G+

This stuff would definitely make Strago replace Ultimecia on my wind magic team, though I was hoping for Fujin stuff since Alphinaud would have a hard time taking on chain duties. The USB is an aegis counter and the G+ is a BDL though so those are pretty nice in addition to the awakening

Naw. I've got, like, four chains to pick before I start thinking about grabbing AASBs, and I don't plan to start taking chains until I start needing them... which, since I've got all the Argent Odins down, will wait until I actually get enthused about trying to take out the Labyrinth superbosses.

Like I said before Golden Fest should be soon (around thanksgiving) and we're gonna get grab bag tickets from that as well as some realm/elemental ones from beating Wodin and Dragonking. It's best to wait until you use those up before you use your level 4 anima lenses.

I'm eyeing Balthier's awakening though for physical Snow Giant.

IMHO it's not worth waiting on a purely random draw if you can actually use a lensable chain now. It's not that scarce a resource, you can get one every two weeks. Sure, wait if you're just picking it up because you might hypothetically use it in the future, but if you're going to use it now might as well actually play the game.

It's only like two weeks away though, and we all know how RNG is a cruel mistress where after a select you end up duping it shortly after (or honing an awakening) That just happened to me right when I dream selected Yuna sync last time only to dupe it with a ticket a couple days ago.

Besides the only time based mission right now is Snow Giant and I already beat him so I'm cool with waiting. (and the mission only give treasure maps anyway)

Welp, I thought getting Gogos AASB would give me an easy wodin win, but it turns out water weak is a fucking nightmare

For some reason Im having a way harder time consistently getting him to 0 or 1 rage for zan than I usually do, and I only get through that part with my whole party intact like a third of the time. Then he kept killing Gogo (until I realized I accidentally didnt buy his 1000hp node), and then he kept killing Arc. And now I keep getting killed by gungnir due to pain still being up (I guess maybe I survived it before because having someone dead slowed me down enough for it to wear off or something?)

I eventually switched Edge into the death slot so I could let that clear berserk instead of ultra cure (freeing up Elarra to bring PS) and then stopped to use Edges SSB in the middle of his sync for the extra last stand (after once screwing up and using it right after his sync, giving up the infusion from switch draw... ><)

That was 49 magicite dungeons so I got a ticket which I used on lightning again:

Anyone else pulling on the FF11 banner? Seems like it's gonna be the last one for a long time (technically there is a one is the foreseeable future because the next playable character they announced was some FF11 girl, I forgot her name, but that's all we know about the next FF11 event) I'll do 2, maybe 3 pulls to try and help with FF11 Bahamut AKA the hardest Bahamut.

I might. I see little hope of beating XI Bahamut with my current tech (believe me, I tried), but I have 3 dupes on banner 1, which is a littly risky.

Unfortunately, banner 1 doesn't really help with the realm's biggest issue, which is Aphmau being dogshit. Crit-fix? Buffs? Last Stand? What are those?

You can try using an off-realm healer, but Lilisette is no Mog, as far as supports go.

I'll skip it, I'm saving for fest and I have no attachment to these characters since I never played it (except I like Shantotto some because of her SB animations).

Almost everyone here has like no attachment to the FF11 characters outside of maybe Prishe and Shantotto because of Dissidia. But we still gotta beat the all Bahamuts eventually, no doubt there will be a book of trials in the future with a reward for that. The banners are also decent for the next two labyrinths with Lion viable for Salamander and Prishe for Kraken. Getting the record boards would help for those two characters.

Prishe finally gets her hero ability too! Dunno why it took so since it was obviously going to be a ice/lightning 5 hitter.

I still have a lot of Bahamuts left so XI isn't a high priority for me right now. Although I think I'll probably take Shantotto's sync with my fest ticket selection, and that might be enough with what I already have.

I might pull once... my XI is terrible, but I still have plenty of other realm teams to build up too.

I could really use Shantottos sync since magic lightning is also one of my worst elemental teams.

That's pretty bold claim if you're confident if Shantotto is enough to get the win, unless you have Zeid sync and awakening or other syncs. FF11 Bahamut is the hardest one, having 5.7 million HP with the most neglected realm to work with, some people even argue he's the hardest boss in the game, in current JAPAN.

Oh I finally remembered that girl's name, Arciela! From the NicoNico Livestream there was a Q&A and said she was the next playable character coming. It's still gonna be at least 7 months though because the next FF11 event hasn't been announced yet.

Geez FF11 Bahamut is worst than I remember, I struggle just to beat phase 1 even with my new toys! He has too much HP and does way too much damage! And he dispels so I can't use Orran's awakening early either to keep up with the damage and he takes 8000 damage from the black hole dispel so he could end up dying before I can use the awakening to reapply the proshellga!

Man what was Dena thinking with this one? I guess I'll just wait until Lion's hero gear is out and pray I get Zied or Aphmau's sync with a ticket from golden fest.
