Rolling these guys now. Helps that their patterns are fairly similar. Unlike Fire, Ice Magic might be doable. Low priority though I'll probably just keep going down the wheel. I think one of my wind teams are probably good enough to continue progressing.

I thought Snow's damage was supposed to be bad. Sync + AASB2 he was crushing it harder than Squall with Sync + AASB1. I guess he has more magia but still surprising. Probably because Snow's Sync has crit fix and I didn't really have critical chance on my team.

The main issue with Snow is that his default LMs are useless (and I'm not sure the good ones are lensable?)

One thing to be aware of with wind is that there's an extra aegis at 35%

Oh okay. That makes sense. I have his dualcast monk + start with haste/IC1 LMRs. Increased Ice Damage would be better than the second one but yeah, Dualcast Monk is the important one. You're right neither of the good damage ones can be lensed.

Duly noted on double aegis. Might need to be magic to beat that Odin since I have Ultimecia's sync and she has a USB that can break it. Is there some sort of guide with aegis counters out there? I feel like my physical wind team is actually better if I had an option I could lens or already own for it.

Oh looks like Vaan Sync command 2 has it. If I can blitz from 75% -> 35% that might actually be able to knock out both of the aegises.

Still would be a nice resource to have though. Some sort of list. I was trying to find it on reddit and I don't really know how to search it lol.

When I need to find them I search in the community spreadsheet soul breaks tab for "def, res and mnd".

I could also buy Faris's Brave USB to have another way to do it which is fine because I'd be slotting her as the chain holder anyway. So will probably go physical first. Seems like it'll be less of a hassle than trying to counter it repeatedly with Ultimecia's USB (and needing to get a magic wind chain).

Not the character I was going for, but I guess thatll put him on at least my FF2 team. Looks like these wont really combo at all though since the awakening is one of the non-dualcast ones?

Yep, definitely a solid pull! Ace absolutely helps my magic fire, and may help me make a magic Shiva team (though thats the only cap break I have for him).

I have both of Ultimecias Syncs, as well as her AASB, so this basically cements her on my magic wind and dark teams.

Speaking of which, do we know how many BDL a DAASB is worth? 1.5? 2?

Wait mode feels so fast sometimes. Did D500 lightning weak omega, and it feels like AASBs and such run out so much faster. That was my first real experiment with it.

I probably used Firions sync too early in P1 so it ran out right before P3 and I couldnt break kings rage, but I had enough buffs to pretty much have everyone hitting 19999s anyway.

I believe the improved wait mode doesnt work on Omega (but does on Gilgamesh), so that wouldve been wait mode at speed 3.5 which is definitely worse than active speed 1. Wait mode speed 2 is pretty great though imo (with the one downside being that chains are only 14 seconds)

I did have to lens Leilas USB1 just because I didnt have anything other than her awakening for her to get rid of souls (though the 100% crit was also probably necessary for the sub-30 given how close it was)

Congrats! I still haven't gotten any sub-30, my best is about 31 on IX.

I took Laguna for the chain (and nothing else); Im wondering if the RW chain + Cater (with both awakenings) would have worked better. One of those awakenings also has an aegis counter, though it might be annoying to time since its a chase after three ability uses.

Ohhhh that makes far more sense. It definitely felt super fast for what I thought speed 2 was (I even checked, and it showed speed 2).

Yeah it just doesn't work on certain things. It also doesn't work in Lab or most events (all besides Gilgamesh, I think), so it'll default to the old wait mode.

Looks like the intended way to use this is AA>attack x3>USB1?

Tried the VII DK with Cloud/Seph/Yuffie since my understanding was that it was one of the easiest ones. For some reason I didnt seem to have enough gauge at the right times and everything kinda fell apart and I got killed right at 40%.

Personally I thought it was harder than people said. Cloud needs a lot of SB gauge. Who are you using for support?

Aeriths healing also seems kinda insufficient.. I triggered last stand several times and had to reset once or twice due to P1 deaths.

Might be worth going old school for this one and using Tyro. (a) he can entrust Cloud and (b) there are two DBFBs to counter and Tyro can do it for just one bar.

Doesn't Tyro only work for DBs? I thought DKs countered with a new full break if you used an out of realm damaging FBC.

Any damaging out of realm soul break dragonking counters with ultimate full break yeah. Indirectly counters Tyro but also counters Bartz or Cloud or Rem or whoever being used for every dungeon

Ah sorry, for some reason I thought we were talking about the DB. If you have Orran's stuff he might be better, otherwise I don't have any good suggestions.

Not sure what was up with Yuffie/Mog's gauge but I guess maybe if I had Seph use the HC on turn 2 instead of Cloud on turn 1 maybe the gauge would work out for Cloud at least (he was a sliver away before being memory-bit)

Had Fang doing 39999x7 4 times late in the fight (had her use Sync as her early damage saved dual awaken for late) and he was already at 20% before Argent Gungir hit.

Needless to say he did not survive long. I didn't even use dual awoken mode 2 which I'm not entirely sure how to optimize actually. Just give me tricasts and I'm happy.

Oh good lord. Here I was thinking Sync early then Dual Awaken + Awaken (bevause comboing her Awakening with her Sync was never a good idea) was the way. Holy crap that was sick.

So I tried it but I'm finding that functionally for my team composition I had the right idea.

The problem is against an enemy with actual defense you need to stack a lot of damage buffs for all those BDLs to actually matter. More damage buffs than I have. I can't actually do more damage than 39999 so might as well just do BLD+3 + no air time + no delay and use the Sync early

It's good to know they stack like that though.

Did my Bahamut kills for the last two tickets, got Noel BSB with my first one (at least it's the one I don't have) and Braska AOSB dupe and Basch AOSB. Blech. Well Braska's AOSB 5/10 now in case I need it for FF8 Shiva.

At least I got a sub30 on FF13 Bahamut now, I wanted to use Raines' sync but it was better to just use his two awakenings combined. Maybe when he gets hero gear I might have enough meter to juggle them.

Ah well, I guess it makes me not feel too bad about missing her dual awakening. But it sounds like it's still a great relic. Hope I get either Kain's or Noctis's on the next banner so I can try to beat those phy labyrinths.

I kinda want Yuffie's, but I think I'm gonna skip B3 since I'm not too fond of FFRK's dragoon implementation and I only have Noctis's earth sync

I wish there wasn't so much Machina stuff on B4... I definitely want the Bartz, Ysayle, and non-dupe Papa stuff

For me B4 is a pretty easy pass since I'm pretty committed to Cloud and Zidane for wind. I kinda like Papa but I already have his sync and he only gets a dyad, not a dual awakening. B5 has a lot of stuff I'd like to get though.

Im definitely pulling at least twice on B5. I was planning one or two pulls on 4 as well, but I should probably consider redirecting to another pull on one or two instead since yeah, true, phys wind is very competitive.

It's sad that the banner with all returning relics appeals to me more than the ones with the new tech.

I'm doing 5 pulls for Bartz wardrobe, but I'm still not sure which banners, other than B5, I really want to pull on.
