I would very much consider supporting the FF11 version of Prelude; I love the way the chords turn sinister on the way down in the second part of the song which I don't think is in any other version?? And the simple crystal clear strings are just so good

I know I was warned about Square taking things down but jeez, I had to replace 4 vids on the playlist yesterday and 7 today, what is their deal! Maybe it's the uploaders hiding them to protect the uploads or something. I'm keeping up the links for noms people have removed btw, in case anyone else wants to hop on them.

A reminder: You cannot remove nominations in the final 24 hours. This is a rule taken from lefty's contest to prevent people abandoning a 'safe' nominee en masse at the end resulting in something like Big Bridge getting excluded.

And an update on the increasingly likely tiebreaker scenario at the end of nominations, this is the order that ties will be broken:

1. Number of unique user votes
2. If there are multiple arrangements of the same track in contention, people who nominated those tracks will have a chance to consolidate their votes behind a single choice.
3. If there's still not a clear top 128 after this, there will be a run-off topic lasting 24 hours where people vote on which tracks should make it in, of those on the borderline. The specific format of the run-off will depend on how many pieces of music are in the tiebreaker and how many can make it through.

Open to feedback of course!

i'm not certain about ff wiki, but there's a very consistent trend where fan wikis put very ill-informed unsourced fan speculated indiv composer credits that are proven wrong a year later but then misinformation has spread so far that it's hard to undo the damage. i'm like...really passionate about the topic, and checking sources i know to be a lot more strict, but yeah once the list of what gets in is finalized i'll be happy to go through and make sure it's as accurate as current knowledge goes

(that said i think ff barely would even have that problem because albums give pretty detailed credits; but i know for a fact when looking for "imaginary hitoshi sakimoto song i can't find" that half the songs on those uploads/etc weren't composed by sakimoto like they claimed, so...yeah)

Just putting the playlist of favs at 1 or 2 noms currently is going to be tough in itself... let alone abandoning any at 0 noms, can't go down that route.
