Well, the first thing would probably be to prioritise number of unique user votes (so those with doubles would go out first), after that... other than a randomised selection or somehow having a runoff vote I'm not sure. It'd depend on if we're talking about cutting 1-2 or picking 5 from 50 or something, no way to know until it happens. I am very open to suggestions on this! I tried looking at VGMC noms on the archives just now and I didn't even begin to understand what the hell was going on lol. There's certainly enough great songs that you could theoretically go huge with this, but the problem is time and contest length more than anything!
