Its a good idea, the alberta one is a pdf printed one, and id rather have it in my waller vs hunting the pdf on my phone each time i want to use it

Could always print the PDF as an image and set it as your lock screen, if you really want to simplify matters.

Could always print the PDF as an image and set it as your lock screen, if you really want to simplify matters.

My mom and I put ours in a plastic envelope thingies that you can attach it to a lanyard. Just in case they want to add any booster shots to that card.

Laminate a copy.

Some of the ink used will run/bleed if you subject it to the heat of the lamination process.

I think mines on the floor of my truck somewhere.

My pharmacist straight up told me to not have mine laminated, because they will want to add any boosters to it. Even if I don't plan on getting a booster, still best to leave the option open.

Also I leave my vaccine card in my vehicle, so it doesn't get worn out in my wallet. Haven't had to show it anywhere yet.

I'm not making the rules. I'm just saying that's how it is. But that rules is up to the business owners, which I think would make it less like an authoritarian regime since it's the people making that choice instead of the government at that point.

As for travel, I do understand that one. People would rather not have people helping to bring COVID back to their country when they are doing their best to keep it out...

Considering the vaccine doesn't prevent a person from spreading covid, requiring the vaccine is more an issue of control than practicality.

It still lowers the chance by a certain amount, though... So, I think what I said still stands. Between someone with the vaccine and without it, you would rather have the person with it enter since they have a much lower chance of catching and spreading COVID than a person without it...

And that's still an if. But until that happens, it doesn't really matter. Because until that happens, most countries would rather let people who are vaccinated in since they have a lower chance of spreading it. Nothing you said changes that... It doesn't make vaccination status pointless, nor is it a good argument over vaccination papers. They'll probably have a list of stuff they want you to have. Comply or don't fly, I guess...

As long as the straight people had to carry a straight card with them, as well... And as long as gay people were treated as regular members of society... Then why not...

Though, a gay card and vaccination card are two very different things... A vaccination card is about public health, where a gay card isn't... Nor does having a gay card make anyone feel safer... They would have to see the card to know whether or not I was gay. And if anything, it would only make the homophobes feel less safe... So, you argument about feeling safer doesn't work, and is a shit argument. But you welcome to try again... And unlike the gay card, a vaccine card isn't pointless, as it shows if you are vaccinated. And being vaccinated means you are less likely to catch to pass on Covid, while also lessening you symptoms is you do catch it... So, try a better argument...

I have to reget it through the health service site, but the info is linkes to my Alberta Health card. So it isnt difficult to update it. The card itself that i have in my wallet cant update, even before i laminated it. Just the way the provincial government decided to make them.
Also posted a pic, no spot on there is room to show a booster.
