I actually would not end up surprised at all of the viewership for this season ends up noticeably lower. I mean obviously it is now, but after.

Sure it's still going to do gangbusters, but still. Noteable.

I didn't get very far in the game, but it had a fairly intriguing story.

I tried a few different new shows. Angels of Death had an interesting idea, but seemed kinda...chinzy in its presentation of the horror schtick. Arifureta was just another isekai looking thing. I settled on Angel Burst. Still kinda crap, but in that easily digestible comedy kind of way. I'll give it a couple more episodes before I commit though. To be fair, neither of the three shows are "I have to watch this and keep watching." Angel Burst just seemed like, "It's stupid inoffensive trash that could be fun." kind of way.

I picked way too much shit I had to start poking through the list somehow. The problem with "just pick anything with a dub" means I now have like 500 options....gotta cut shit down.

Why all 500-600 shows? Bored. 3-4 subscriptions can't just sit there. I also need potential podcast fodder for YouTube. Even absolute dog shit can be strung into content somehow.

Still don't know how I feel about Dr. Stone's continued fast forward to its ending

Beginning of the chapter was basically a 3 year timeskip and we suddenly have a level 99 rocket engine to launch the satellite, but then we went through several times skips right after that as they tested their rocket because they had to build it from scratch every time the previous one failed and exploded.

The characters aren't really aging that much though which makes it kind of weird

I feel like they had to age up Suika because it would have been too ridiculous otherwise.

Even though it's still a little crazy because there's no indications at all. I wonder if we're gonna get a confirmation of their final ages. Or maybe in addition to being revived from the dead the petrification also gives you near eternal youth?

I feel like Dr Stone fell off the face of the earth in general.

I dropped it pretty quick but people seemed to enjoy it a lot. But then one day everyone seemed to just stopped bringing it up anywhere? I didn't hear about any controversy or people turning on it, just kind of...stopped being a thing.

After it's debut and the premise is established it's extremely consistent. So it's not really the kind of thing that hooks new readers/viewers, but fans aren't really gonna be dropping.

Sold a decent amount, but the story in Japan was how many unsold copies were sitting on shelves.

Finished Attack on Titan. Now to wait 2 months for the final part of the anime...
I feel like saying this is the best anime I have ever seen. Not like I watched a lot of anime in my life, but still! considering how hard it is to excite me nowadays (apathy from growing old, general idea that most stuff I have seen are just recycled in some form in another show etc) yet AOT managed to do that and I don't remember the last time I enjoyed something so much as I did AOT

I have no idea what is the general consensus about the manga ending, but I want to believe it delivers.
Season 4 had a lot of questionable choices so I am not really sure I like the direction it's going but... I still want to believe because it was near-perfect up until very recently (the last few episodes of season 4 are..uh...yeah)

Watched Odd Taxi. I think it's the only anime I've watched in the last 4 months or something but it was pretty good. The thing about the zoo was more gimmicky than anything, but everything else about the show was quite good. Lots of compelling characters and the mysteries/twists were presented in way that made it always thrilling to watch.

I am finally watching Outlaw Star.

It's alright so far. Did not catch my interest the way Trigun or Cowboy Bebop did. Also Vash > Spike >> Gene. I think I'm 6 episodes in right now so we will see if that changes.

I need to give that another shot. I lost interested at the Buddha chanting villain stuff. But people swear by Outlaw Star being good. It could be another one of those, "It's doofy level stupid early on, but then the serious shit makes it amazing" kind of things as Trigun was.

Then again, Bebop is a lightning strike sort of thing. God I can't wait to rewatch it in prep for the live action.

I saw outlaw star a long time ago but I can't tell you much. Not nearly as memorable as bebop which I saw around the same time.

Finished reading the Accelerator spinoff manga for whatever reason.

Whole lot of nothing that spends a lot of time going nowhere, especially when compared to Railgun or Astral Buddy.

Only thing that had some potential to be interesting is that Isaac was presumably helped by Choronzon, but of course it doesn't get any sort of elaboration on how or why (even if the intent was to avoid spoilers, there's surely something more that could have done to cleverly work around them or hint at them). I guess that was also kind of a teaser/foreshadowing for the whole Clonoth thing at the end of NT in the main series, and there's also more teasing about the end product of power development/Thelema/wtf Touma's actual power is being related to some sort of eldritch abomination cosmic horror (potentially related to the "secret chiefs" of the Rozenkreuz?) but there was already a fair amount of teasing about that in the main series/Railgun so it's kind of superfluous.

One of the credit pages jokes about the Accelerator author not having much editorial oversight and it kind of shows, since it doesn't really use elements of the series very well (and also from the tendency to copypasta panels or even 2 page spreads with minor differences to pad out the length of chapters).

Cells At Work, Code Black, a more serious version of the show. Also, I would have never expected an episode about erections and sex would be clinical and treated as...not a joke. It's amazing this almost feels like a health class.

Been watching absolutely 0 anime with work going on and such, but finally got some time to finish up Megalobox 2 since I had to stop at one point when I started getting busy.

Still really love it, might say I liked this season even more than season 1. Characterization remains strong.

Halfway through prince of tennis manga

I wish I liked it more! The cast is pretty great but the way the matches go down leaves a lot to be desired. A little too often does a team have our heroes down 5 entire games and once they figure out a strategy it montages through a reverse sweep.

I hated the main character, it would be so much better without him. And some of the super powers (cause that is basically what some of the special abilities are) in it are just to much for me.

There are times I love Prince of Tennis and the sequel manga and times I just cant handle it.
