The problem with the claim is that literally nothing has shown that this is happening anywhere from any variant of the virus. Whatever source this is sounds like Project Veritas-styled horseshit.

The misinformation started from a tweet about "breakthrough infections having a higher viral load than expected".

So they've been posting it and either ignoring or omitting the part of it being a breakthrough infection or the last part about expected to somehow mean greater than unvaccinated infections.

Basically completed bullshit, but easy to pass off to an uneducated population.

The real reason Ulti blocked me is because I called him out on some stupid shit he was claiming and then proved that he was talking out of his ass, and his fragile ego can't handle being wrong. I believe that's why he blocked most of the people he has blocked.

Kind of pathetic that he still goes on alts to keep track of the people he blocked. Scratch that, it's not kind of pathetic. It's extremely pathetic.

Basically, since those most at risk for covid are also those who are most likely to be vaccinated, it can look like the vaccine is much less effective than it is in reality because being vaccinated means youre more likely to be old, and being old means youre more likely to get severe covid.

This is a huge problem, because most people, and in particular the media, are so terrible with numbers and statistics that they will immediately latch on to the simplest number they can understand. It blows my mind how little emphasis school systems place on probability and statistics, given that they are probably the single most important math discipline for every day life.

Yesterday, children are going back to school here but with some kinda shift system so the classrooms are not at full capacity. The effect remains to be seen.

We get about 100 people a day at work looking for the at-home covid tests. It's really really annoying. Then they all act so surprised that we're constantly sold out. I also love the ones that come in asking if we do tests in store but never have any masks on.

My father refuses vaccination which makes me not wanna be around him but what else can I do cause what if he really died he's almost 70.

Only a week after schools started and my county is now seeing almost the worst level of spread ever. Effectively for the community it is worse because the only time it was higher was when the prison here allowed almost literally every inmate to get infected in November.

So a friend of mine, who called COVID "just a flu", rejected quarntine and decided to not get vaccinated is being hospitalized for over a week now
And his father, who fought covid for 3 weeks now, just died this morning
And his son doesn't know about it as he is still Anesthetized (is this the word? I used Google translate) and can't attend the funeral because..well...he is still hospitalized

What a fucking disaster and maybe it could have been avoid if it wasn't for all those fucking idiots spouting fake news and conspiracies all over the Internet
People die because of this bullshit and I am mad about this

Social media was a mistake. Where people in basements were given as much legitimacy as actual news outlets.

Anybody who denies science and/or the vaccine without a legitimate medical excuse shouldnt be allowed to take up a hospital bed. They should have to seek medical care from the Facebook and Twitter comments sections.

It's just funny how people make arbitrary lines. How it is a question of compassion, human decency, and valuing a life in one scenario, but not in another area when it comes to human life. So many people continue to act contradictory in their actual values.

Overdoses tend to be accidental, not intentional. Choosing not to get a safe and effective vaccine isnt an accident, its stupid and putting everybody else at risk. People who overdose also arent doing the kind of harm to others that someone walking around unvaccinated is doing.

Thats why I dont consider them to be the same. Is that better, or is this still too hard for you to understand?

Overdosing and needing narcan tends to be accidental, not intentional. Getting sick to the point of needing the ICU from Covid tends to be accidental, not intentional.

Nobody says I am going to need medical attention for Covid. You are trying to move your nonsense around to act right.

It's literally this simple. Does someone deserve medical assistance if they made a bad decision? Yes or no? It doesn't matter if that decision was shooting heroin to the point of overdose, having serious symptoms from a virus you didn't get vaccinated from, getting lung cancer from smoking, etc etc ad nauseum.

You are making an arbitrary bullshit imaginary line to justify which human lives matter.

Regardless of accidental or intentional, someone ODing isn't contagious. Being unvaccinated allows more spread of a contagious disease. ODing usually only harms yourself. Being unvaccinated by its very nature harms society.

Someone could OD and wipe out a family of 4 while a person could get covid and spread to no one. I mean, again, it just comes down to should a person be saved if they make a bad decision. It's how you value life in general. If you have an arbitrary imaginary line here then, you likely don't have the values you espouse generally. I, personally, am not for unlimited use of Narcan on ODs myself.

I actually don't really have an opinion narcan. But equating the two seems really silly when there is obvious differences that fundamentally change how they affect others and not just the individual. Some one on drugs could kill those around them just like someone who gets a DUI could've caused a car accident that kills innocents. Or an alcoholic is more likely to abuse their domestic partner. But it isn't inherently part of taking the drug or drinking. They could also OD home alone doing nothing. It is impossible for someone not vaccinated to never be in a situation where they potentially contribute to the crisis. Unless I suppose the unvaccinated person never sees another living soul for the rest of their life
