I don't like getting involved in stuff like this, but I personally feel if everyone around you is wearing a mask in the picture being taken, you should be wearing a mask too (regardless whether you are "the focus" or not), and/or should instead take a picture without a mask on your own without anyone else.

The Abrams photo was absolutely ridiculous regardless of where you stand on the issue tbqh.

The only thing ridiculous about it is she should have known that people would make a big deal out of her not wearing her mask in a photo op despite it not mattering at all.

This really sucks for families of young children.

Pfizer said on Friday that it will wait for its data on a three-dose series of the vaccine, because it believes three doses "may provide a higher level of protection in this age group." Data on the third dose is expected in early April, the company said.

Early April for a three dose regimen that may still not work because they guessed too low for their dosing.

Though in retrospect it isn't surprising since I remember reports from over a month ago that was determining that the two dose regimen was underperforming. The assumptions that this would get FDA approval were irresponsible.

Damn. My youngest daughter wont be 5 until the end of June. At this rate she wont be able to get vaccinated before then.

Started with pain in the throat but now I am coughing a lot

I took it much easier this time. I am not sure if it's because I was vaccinated (once, and that was almost a year ago) or because this is the second time or because it's Omicron (probably) or maybe just RNG
I only had the following symptoms-
Throat pain, coughing, and probably fever but I didn't check and that was very underwhelming and for only like 2 hours

All the symptoms that I had the first time didn't appear - lose of smell, back pain, headache, fatigue, weakness, and most importantly - no loss of breath

The only thing that worries me is if it somehow caused even more damage to my lungs, considering how they are still fucked from the first time. But it doesn't feel like that..at least

Feel bad for you man. I think Covid causes permanent organ damage? Or at least it takes a while to recover fully?

It was all just a hoax to get Trump voted out of office anyway, obviously.

I will say the hospital I work at has officially switched to treating COVID as endemic rather than a pandemic.
