Personally I never had any issues with Whiskey but shit got pretty weird at the end.

I rarely had issues with Whiskey, because unlike the rest of you I tend to avoid political shit-flinging and the obvious circle jerk topics.

Sunny had basically degenerated into a one-note troll account by the end. I came close to tossing him on ignore (and probably would have if he'd spammed a bit more than he did).

Damn two times in the past minute.
I did not see that Sunny made that remark. Sunny has been here for a long time, but I can never rationalize pedophilia. Pedophilia is absolutely disgusting (children cannot consent) and should never be socially acceptable, and I am generally a pretty agreeable person these days.

Both were pretty entertaining in their own right. Whiskey could be downright hilarious at times and Sunny was probably the best punching bag this board has had since the days of Erik P, his complete lack of self awareness never failed to amaze

What was the basis for this accusation again? Regardless, my statement was that he was a benefit to THIS board. I have no fucking clue what he does elsewhere, although from what he'd discussed over the years that claim feels vastly out of character.

She said PotD was making her feel dumber, and was making her perspective on men worse. I wouldn't count on her coming back. She came back in the first place because we went back and I recognized her social media and asked her how she was doing. I told her I came back during quarantine, and she made a new account.

Like myself, she was gone for years, and made a life for herself. Idk how many of you have noticed I'm posting less as well, but now that the world is opening back up, I just find better things to do.

As much as I'd like to agree with you, Whiskey did not avoid these things. He saw so many comments that had nothing to do with him as personal attacks, and turned benign topics into cancerous tumors spanning multiple pages in a fit of rage. This is to say nothing of the times when people did point out, be it concern or otherwise, his apparent issues, and how ballistic he went towards everyone regardless of their intent. Once upon a time it was much less so, though he was clearly full of crap and self-important back in ye olden days. In the final months of his time here? No, he'd gone so far off the deep end, further than some of us thought existed, it was a matter of time before something happened; and it did with him leaving after whatever-numberth ban it ended up being.

And my opinion of him has not been helped by the fact that I'd explained multiple times why I decided to redirect my tie and energy from the Geek topics to other things, and he continued, persisted even, to to act like I threw a fit out of nowhere and left. Hint: I had felt less inclined to share anything or take part in the conversations going on for a few threads before I decided to call it.

To be fair, the last post I remembered of yours in those topics was about how we never talked about anything you wanted to talk about so that was also kinda my impression and I'm not sure I ever saw any explanation. That said, with Whiskey gone and Wave taking some time away for health issues, the whole Geek topic tradition basically fell apart so that's all in the past.
