There is never a good time to get Chik Fil A near my house. Any time of the day that you go there, there is a line around the corner of the parking lot. And I will still sit in it to get at that good chicken.

Id rather just not support them than get them to change.

They have (for years) shown everybody what theyre about. Making them pretend they are ok with LGBTQ is just fake. Theyll act like they arent homophobic while you continue to spend money there.

Just dont go there. Even if the apologize and stop donating to terrible things, just get your chicken sandwiches somewhere else they arent even that good.

Go to Popeyes its a better sandwich and isnt some undercover Christian bullshit restaurant with soggy overpriced chicken.

For kansas city, I usually suggest Gates if you like ribs, Arthur Bryant's for sandwiches and jack stacks for burnt ends. Keep in mind, gates has maybe the best sauce period. Its spectacular

This is more or less accurate however I personally think Bryant's sauce is absolutely far and away the best in the city/area. That shit makes my stomach rumble just thinking about it. Not that gates or anywhere else is bad by any means, it's just the bar is so damn high.

LC's is the best location since you're basically 2-3 miles from the stadium complex

Q39's brisket last time I want was fricken unreal, so thick cut and marbled

Jack Stack wins with sides, their cheesy corn and beans own

Also this might be controversial but I think oklahoma joe's is a hair overrated to be quite honest. The idea of lining up and eating at a gas station is a neat idea from a travel/tourism perspective, but the food in general is maybe just a small step behind some of the already mentioned iconic joints. Don't get me wrong, it's still fucking awesome food, but again the bar is just extremely high. They do win for fries though.

Char Bar in Westport was really great across the board, but I hear Westport has kinda become a shitshow recently? I haven't been back in a few years.

Also, Arthur Bryant's BBQ sauce is the most heavily vinegar based BBQ I've ever had. I was the least impressed with their food out of all the KC locations I ate at.

I will say though that contrary to Popeyes, all of the Chick Fil As in my area are in mega white suburban areas while Popeyes tends to be in more urban diverse areas.

Sports and bathrooms are fairly minor laws unlikely to lead to much of anything.

And yeah that isn't nothing, but I think a lot of people are really blowing up these issues.

I should also point out that for all of the money Chick Fil A has donated to anti LGBT stuff that barring trans person's from female sports and bathrooms in some states simply is not very successful.
