Only two floors left in the spiraling depths! But I barely beat level 98 Yojimbo, his bulk is no joke! I need to use Emperor's USB with the magic/attack/resistance to keep the damage up. I wonder if I should get Red XIII's trance legend materia from the record laboratory to help a bit.

Wow got Wedge Awakening with the magicite ticket!!! Sweet that should be great for the dreambreaker, and Wedge gets his hero artifacts next labyrinth too!

Got Auron's Sync with my fest tickets today. Nothing amazing, but it beats my previous 5 tickets.

I haven't done the Bahamut mission yet for that 4th ticket.

Only 6* I've gotten from those tickets was Penelo proshellhastega

Got a dupe Echo bsb and a dupe Vincent usb (the same one I got from my Bahamut ticket ) with today's tickets. And an empty 0/10 today on the daily.

Well that stinks, I hope my luck hasn't plummeted.

I got a few awakenings off various tickets in the last couple days: Raijin, Fusoya, and Yuffie. I might try to fit Yuffie into my earth team, the others probably won't get used.

Got Ultimecia Sync off a freebie today. Very cool. Had vaguely been considering using a Sync select on that since she's a wind mage I like and a FFVIII character I like so rare combo.

Also got Quina Sync, Celes Limit Break (x3), and Gladiolus Arcane Dyad (x2) off of 3 draws on fest banner 1. I actually wanted literally all of the other 7*s more but it's not that bad I guess. Having 9* ice armor is neat and Celes is pretty much always gonna be on my ice team since I have her chain and dyad. Do kinda need an awakening/sync for her though. Dyad + USB isn't the best.

That was the closest win I think I ever gotten in this game, one turn short of time out megaflare, 3 members dead, it all came down to Terra and THANK GOD for that last piecing hit on her Hero Ability!

Got Titan down to about 25%, but completely ran out of steam in P3

It really doesn't seem like I can afford to not use my sync/awakenings in P1/2 either, though! If I use none I basically do 0 damage, and if I only use one it's very hard to break rage.

Syldra was the worst one, well Adamantoise was bad too but that was because of how insanely bulky he was at the time (now current bosses make him look squishy) But Syldra still sucks if you're going for no-healer quick kill because no matter how high you get your HP with motes and water, her phase 3 attacks are fast and gravity based (and can still kill!) The username I use to make new topics makes sense now, huh?

Imagine how scary Syldra would be if she had 5-7 million HP like current endgame bosses Eight sync and dyad would be one of the most chased after relics!

I also got 4/10 on today's daily! All new! Curilla glint, Fang damage up with spear equiped LMR, Vivi's Ice/water/lightning USB and Cid Highwind Awakening!

And I'm finally fucking done with the spiraling depths! THANK GOD! Yojimbo really sucks when he has that much damage reduction. Even with Mog I rarely broke 20000 per hit so it was just better to space out syncs and awakenings than to try and stack them so you have more consistent damage and chain building through the fight.

Caught up on the Gilgameshes. All current ones done!

Holy smokes Hope sync absolutely destroyed Gilgamesh He DPS past the perfect defense, but the moves Gilgamesh uses at the start of phase 2/3 kept killing Mog so I had to use Vanille's last stand USB instead of her qc3 one.

FF8 Gilgamesh got wrecked by Rinoa, Edea and Ultimecia. I was considering getting Ultimecia's HA because she gets a high chance of dualcasting it with both her wind and dark dualcasts, but nah he was too easy to be worth buying it now. Maybe later if I dream select her sync and use her for magic vulnerable Sandworm.

FF11 was rough with Prishe having no HA and Ayame relying on her Dyad with no sync/awakening, but Lion with her sync and HA pretty much did all the work anyway, glad I waited for her new stuff to come out!

FF15 was pretty easy as well. Gladiolus, Noctis and Ardyn are all solid hard hitters (wish Noctis has a dualcast fire LMR though)

Got Dark Cecil's Awakening with my first ticket and Gladiolus usb dupe with my second.

Man I've been getting an Awakening almost every day! Wish one of those was Cloud's, Nabaat or Raines 1 though.

Fuck yeah! Mog AASB2 already showing it was worth the 100 mythril. Bahamut XIV is down, sub-30'd even. My second Bahamut period, first sub-30.



Alph - Glint+, AASB - HA, Hastega
Ysayle - AASB, USB - Chilling Blizzard, Dark Shiva
Yshtola - BUSB - Holyja, Memento of Prayer (don't remember if I used it on the winning run)
Papa - AASB, Sync - HA
Mog - Glint+, AASB22, AASB1 - HA, Passion Salsa

Alphinaud opened with Hastega, Glint+, Chain, then HA spam.
Ysayle used her AASB in phase 1, then her USB in phase 2.
Yshtola got through phase 1 with a single BUSB, mostly spamming Holyja as much as possible.
Papa built gauge in phase 1, as he needed to unleash the AASB+Sync combo in phase 2 to beat the Mega Flare and also to have the double cap-break I needed in phase 3.

After King's rage was broken I figured the fight was won, but the sub-30 still came as a surprise.

My reward, other than a huge sense of accomplishment, was Barret's Realm Chain from the fest banner and a dupe Noczis Glint from the XV banner.

The magicite missions got me motivated to finally take care of all the 5* magicites. I'd like to get a 6* down before the mission expires. Do I have the tools to beat Diabolos (with Cait Sith or Mog, Rem Sync/AASB, and Hope chain; no Dark Odins beat)?

Rem sync/awakening and Cait Sith Awakening is all you need to beat Diabolos with the free chain. Just make sure to get Hope's HA because the third phase has a rift that changes between the real/dream world and Lunar dragon will mess with that. Hope's HA is single target.

Ugh, I had managed to get through Titan P1 using none of my cap breaks and then found out that with no chain up my Ultimecia's level 3 brave ability doesn't quite one shot the walls

Wonder if I can fix that by buying a couple of magic nodes on her RB...

I got a sub30 on Dreambreaker Cid Raines with my new Hope sync!



I was mostly doing a test run to see how close I could get, but Hope really is that nuts he can take out a huge chunk of HP by himself with that sync!

I'll still probably need another cap break for Raines or Nabaat for Bahamut though I think. I might use the 100 myhtril select for that or Dream select it (or hopefully get it on a ticket or daily!)

I used a ticket on FF6, got Mogs sync. Have that, and her AASB1. Is that helpful? I know the AASB2 is what people go for, but Im hoping this is useful?

Yeah Mog sync is fantastic. It's sorta like having a honed awakening 1. You'll still want the Awakening 2 for the full break counter if you plan to bring him to Dreambreaker/Bahamut/Realm Labyrinth superboss.

My understanding is that Mog AASB1 is quite good, but not best SB in the game level like his AASB2 (I just got the AASB2 myself from the select though, so this is not from first-hand experience)

Ultimecia has both waters and an artifact, though I actually could buy a third artifact for Alphinaud (the only reason hes using a 7* +wind instead of Ultimecia is that its a book). I dont have very many artifact stones and have a lot of teams to build with no artifacts though, so Id prefer not to triple-down on wind magic if I can avoid it.

I did manage to beat Madeen with a half-assed dark team I threw together (with Golbez doing nothing besides chain-holding and Alphinaud pretending hes a dark summoner). Hopefully replacing my Evrae will help non-negligibly with Titan...!

Mog Awakening 1 is like S tier and Mog Awakening 2 is S+, they're both some of the best supports in the game, but Awakening 2 is better in the sense that it helps him with physical teams while his awakening1 and sync are more for mages and would really only help with hp recovery in a physical team. But in a mage team they're pretty much equal other than awakening 2 full break counters giving 2 an edge.

Yeah, I should definitely try Odin; presumably a set of 6* magicite would help me a lot! Thankfully no time pressure from expiring missions on that, though.

Not sure how I wanna spend the other tickets; I was alternating Dark and Lightning for the single draws, but now that I beat Madeen thats less pressing and I might actually have enough stuff to put together a lightning team? If not lightning its not obvious what to go for, though. For the other ticket Ill probably do a realm, but Im not sure which.

Ice weak is the easiest Dark Odin, if you beat Syldra that fast you can probably beat Dark Odin, he's a lot tamer offensive wise.

Man, it feels very weird to start sharding 5* stuff. I held off for a while buying more inventory space because its really annoying to find out what SBs you have without the equipment still around, but realistically I know I will never equip a single one of these 5* weapons.

Also tried ice weak Odin a few times and got him to 50%, but he keeps killing me and I got tired of burning stamina. Maybe next time Ill try swapping out Tyro for Mog and see what all the hype is about...!

What are the must have HAs? The only one I've purchased so far is TG Cid's, because he's the anchor of my Holy/Dark phys teams. Right now I'm in the position of trying to do a couple of the 6* Magicites (Phys Dark, Mag Fire and Mag Wind are probably my strongest elemental teams), and trying to do the FF6 Dreambreaker. I'm thinking Terra's might be a good call since she anchors Mag Wind/Fire, or Celes for the Ice/Holy bump.

I don't think there's any general best HA, it depends on what relics you have. Also do you have Orlandeau's sync or infusion glints? 6* magicite have a huge damage resistance if that character doesn't have elemental infusion of that magicite's weakness. If Orlandeau doesn't have a source of infusion you'll have to bench him or have have a really stacked primary DPS that Orlandeau can ride the coattails.

Though support buffs in general are good bang for your buck picks like Deuce, Penelo, Mog and Cait Sith. Also Orran since his HA is the Allegro of physical attacks.

So I mean it seems to me that the way to do this is level up the hero equipment with dupe/bad stat hero equipment rather than using rainbow crystals because rainbow crystals are useful for relics and hero artifacts are not, and we get enough of those rosetta stones that I don't really need to save them all for augmenting

Am I missing anything before I start funneling all these accessories into Emperor gear

Hero artifacts can also be used to augment other level 99 hero artifacts while rainbow crystals can't. So I guess the question is whether you're more worried about running out of rainbow crystals or about max augmenting your hero artifacts. Max augment is just +20 main stat on top of the already high amount.

You get so many rainbow crystals now these days, I have over a thousand and I wasn't even aware of it! (unless a big chunk of that is Bahamut rewards)

So spend whatever you want, any accessories under 8% delay are basically fodder for that anyway.

FF15 Bahamut is tomorrow, anyone gonna try to beat him? I think I can with Noctis sync 1/awakening, and sync + awakening for Gladiolus and Ardyn. Pretty worried about that 5.5 million HP though, I guess FF15 doesn't get the newbie leniency anymore.

I'm definitely going to try, I have Sync+Awakening for Noctis and Gladiolus, and I have Iris's awakening and good USB/G+. The 4th character is probably Ignis, his damage isn't that great but I think he's better than Prompto since I can't take advantage of lightning imperiling (I do have awakenings for both). Quina or Orran for support.

Well I have 3600 crystals and like 60 artifacts stones

So I would run out if I maxed everything out.

I think the solution is I should start making more artifacts since clearly these aren't super valuable resources

You can inherit passives if you get a better one in the future (you can also get 5% earth damage and 8% delay reduction from beating Kalavinka Striker later)

Red XIII isn't just good it's one of the best syncs in the game, you'll want his awakening too for higher HP bosses but it's crazy how fast he kills things under sync.

Definitely worth it for the heroes you're going to use (aka Red XIII). Just getting a full set of his equipment gives you most of the benefits, then like SSJSephirothGokuX123 you can upgrade the passive abilities later.
